The Indian team's head Duncan Fletcher has left for Cape Town, South Africa to attend the funeral of his deceased father-in-law.
The Indian team is right now preparing in Perth for their upcoming games against the UAE and West Indies. India has got off to a good start to the tournament and have won both their games till now.
With Duncan Fletcher leaving for Cape Town, the reins of the team will be taken over by the team director, Ravi Shastri and captain MS Dhoni who will be aptly helped by the assistance coaches Sanjay Bangar and B. Arun.
India play their next game on Saturday, February 28 against UAE at Perth.
