George Dockrell's 3/50 helped take the sting out of West Indies innings early on after they were put in to bat.

West Indies' innings was saved by a late century from Lendl Simmons that took West Indies to 304/7.

What followed was another day of World Cup joy for the Irish fans.

Not many West Indian fans would've expected Ireland to put on a rivetting run chase and make short work of a total in excess of 300.

Paul Stirling's 94 kick-started Ireland's run chase.

Ed Joyce joined the party, smashing 84 off 67 balls. He and Stirling added 106 off 92 balls for the second wicket.

The asking rate was still on the higher side and Niall O'Brien took care of that. He scored 79 off 60.

The party started for Ireland! This was their first win over West Indies in three World Cup matches and five overall.
