World Cup: Pakistan Crush United Arab Emirates
Pakistan crushed United Arab Emrates by 129 runs in their pool B encounter to keep alive their hopes of making it to the quarterfinals of the ICC World Cup 2015.

Ahmed Shehzad and Haris Sohail play with grit and determination and the duo added 160 runs for the second wicket.

Chasing 340 for a win, United Arab Emirates had a cautious start before Sohail Khan bagged two quick wicket to push them on the backfoot.
Shaiman Anwar and Khurram Khan batted with patience and added 83 runs for the 4th wicket. Shaiman went past Kumar Sangakara as leading run-getter in the tournament.
Though the margin of victory was quite big, it can hardly be called a convincing win as the 1992 champions failed to bowl out the minnows, who lost their fourth consecutive match.
Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates players received a traditional maori greeting prior to the match.
