Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock gave South Africa a brisk start in small chase but Amla was dismissed at the stroke of dinner break.

Quinton de Kock, however, shrug his poor form to smash 78 and guide his side to a comprehensive nine-wicket win.

South Africa have won their first-ever World Cup knockout fixture and will now face the winner of New Zealand vs West Indies in semis.
