Sri Lanka bundled out Bangladesh for 240 to cruise to a comprehensive victory of 92 runs. Earlier, Sri Lanka scored 332 for one after electing to bat in their World Cup Pool A match against Bangladesh at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday. Highlights of the match here:
Tillakaratne Dilshan was unbeaten on 161 after an opening stand of 122 with Lahiru Thirimanne (52) and Kumar Sangakkara hit 105 not out in his 400th one-day international.
Dilshan and Sangakkara added an unbroken 210 runs for the second wicket.

Bangladesh, on other hand, tried hard but never looked like chasing the total down. They were 100/5 in the 21st over and in the end it was a huge ask, even for the likes of the in-form batsman Shakib and Rahim, to pull Bangladesh out of the hole. Sabbir Rahman top scored with 53 off 62 balls. All got starts but no one converted it into a big knock.
