Indian men's hockey team qualifies for 2014 world cup

In an official press release by the International Hockey Federation, the teams qualified following the completion of the men's and women's Oceania Cup continental championships in Stratford, New Zealand on Sunday.

Indian men's hockey team qualifies for 2014 world cup

The India men and Belgium women teams are the latest teams to qualify for next year's hockey world cup in The Hague (NED).

In an official press release by the International Hockey Federation, the teams qualified following the completion of the men's and women's Oceania Cup continental championships in Stratford, New Zealand on Sunday.

The India men's team finished sixth at the Rabobank HWL Semi Final in Rotterdam and that was enough to confirm their participation, while the Belgium women took sixth place in the women's competition, which is their ticket to the world cup.
