India's national coach Harendra Singh resigns as Indian hockey national coach following semifinal loss to Malaysia in the Asian Games.

"Keeping in view of the dismal performance of the Men's Hockey Team in the semifinal match against Malaysia on 23 Nov 2010, I hereby tender my resignation as the National Coach of the Men's Hockey Team with immediate effect. I accept the moral responsibility for the debacle at the 16the Asian Games, Guangzhou 2010."
Earlier, India out of Asian Games men's hockey competition final after losing 3-4 to Malaysia on extra-time in the second semifinal.
