Birendra Lakra asked to join Delhi hockey camp
Hockey India has directed Hockey Jharkhand to send half back Birendra Lakra, the lone player from the state to get a berth in the national team, to attend a week-long camp in Delhi from February 11 to 18.

Hockey India has directed Hockey Jharkhand to send half back Birendra Lakra, the lone player from the state to get a berth in the national team, to attend a week-long camp in Delhi from February 11 to 18.
Hockey Jharkhand General Secretary Pir Mohammad said a letter in this regard was received by him today. Mohammad said, the camp was being organized for the upcoming Hockey World League Round 2 to be played at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium from February 18 to 24.
The Indian men's team will open their campaign against Fiji on February 18 followed by matches against Oman (Feb 20), Ireland (Feb 21), China (Feb 23) and Bangladesh (Feb 24).
