New Delhi:
India's hockey goalkeeper Baljit Singh, who had injured his eye during a practice session three months ago, returned home on Saturday after undergoing treatment in the United States saying the condition of the eye has "improved a lot".
"I'm satisfied with whatever treatment I have received so far. My condition has improved a lot after my treatment in the US", he said.
Singh said he would have to undergo another surgery either in India or the US.
The Sports Ministry, he said, has assured him that the best treatment will be given to him in India and if that does not happen he would be sent to the US again.
Last month, after undergoing laser surgery on his eye in Alabama, US, Singh had said that he could identify colours. The goalkeeper's right eye was damaged during a practice session with a golf ball in Pune in July this year.
