Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh returned a modest one-under 70 to drop 10 places to be tied 34th after the second round of the Frys.com Open golf tournament.
Jeev slotted in a couple of birdies against a lone bogey on Friday to total three-under 139 in the event.
Jeev picked up a stroke as early as on the second hole but a bogey on the sixth left him even-par at the turn.
On his way back, Jeev managed a birdie on the 12th and parred the remaining holes to sign off another reasonably good day.
Overnight leader Rocco Mediate held on to his position after a brilliant six-under 65 took his total to 13-under 129.
Japan's Ryuji Imada was a three strokes adrift at the second spot after carding a four-under 67.
