Mark Webber is unsure of his future once his contract with the Red Bull Formula One team ends after the ongoing season. He says he may consider switching team if his existing contract is not renewed.
The Australian who finished the 2010 season on the third spot told a European magazine that he will consider all possible options once the Brazilian Grand Prix comes to an end in November, closing the 2011 season with it.
"When this championship ends, my contract with Red Bull does as well," he said. "But I don't think it depends on the results. I want to win for me. We'll see. If the team doesn't want me anymore, I will have to ask myself a question - hang up my helmet or change teams?"
Webber has not had the dream start to his 2011 season although his team-mate in defending champion Sebastian Vettel has had an explosive start and is 31 points clear of Webber. The 34-year-old however said he feels determined to finish the season on a strong note.
