Real Madrid are the champions of Europe on the football pitch, off it, they are the best in the world. In the latest list of most valuable football teams in the world Los Blancos are right on top with an estimated value of $3.645 billion and a revenue of of $694 million.
The Spanish giants, who won the Champions League this year, have topped the Forbes list for fourth year running.
In the second spot is another Spanish club, Barcelona. The Catalan giants have been re-valued at $3.549 billion, having ended the season with two trophies (La Liga and Copa del Rey).
A couple of poor seasons don't seem to have affected Manchester United's brand value. The Red Devils are in the third spot with an estimated value of $3.317 billion. Bayern Munich ($2.678 billion) and Arsenal ($2.017 billion) make up the top-five of the Forbes most valuable football teams for 2016 list.
