Premier Futsal Kicks-Off in Chennai

After months of wait the Premier Futsal League finally took off in Chennai on Friday evening with star attraction Ronaldinho arriving at the venue (All images courtesy AFP)

And soon enough action began in the Tamil Nadu capital

In the first match Ryan Giggs-led Mumbai took on local team Chennai

But eventually Mumbai won the 40-minute encounter 4-2, handing the hosts a defeat

In the next match, it was Kolkata which took on Goa

Argentina Hernan Crespo (Kolkata) and Brazilian star Ronaldinho were the two marquee players

Much was expected from the once best football player in the world but Ronaldinho failed to bring out his best

As a result, Kolkata won 4-2 against Goa on Friday night
