FULL TIME REPORT
Leicester (11-11-12) played out a goalless draw with Southampton (5-14-15) at the King Power tonight as both sides failed to pick up much ground on their competition. Leicester moved to within eight points of Burnley who lost tonight but with four games remaining, Europe seems out of the picture now, while Saints need more than draws if they're to escape dropping out of the top tier. The game never really sparked into life aside from a few half chances here and there. Leicester had the first couple of chance as Jamie Vardy saw a shot ricochet wide before Kelechi Iheanacho put wide from close range. Shane Long messed up a big chance for the visitors when he put the ball straight at the keeper with support aplenty to his right, before Ben Hamer's wonder save kept out the Irishman. Full time and it finishes 0-0.

FULL TIME
The full time whistle goes and it's all over. A point doesn't really help either side. Leicester 0-0 Southampton.

There will be three additional minutes.

Substitution
Harvey Barnes (on). Adrien Silva (off). (Leicester City)
88'
Substitution
Nathan Redmond (on). Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (off). (Southampton)
90'
Substitution

87'
SUBS
Final subs for each side. Nathan Redmond comes on for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for Saints while Hamza Choudhury is introduced to play in place of Adrien Silva for the hosts.
84'
CHANCE
We have another chance for the home side now as a corner drops out to Adrien Silva and he goes to drive the ball back into the mixer but can only find a Southampton defender. Five minutes left for this game to jump in to any sort of life.
80'
WIDE
A free kick from Leicester causes no trouble for the away side as we still search the first goal, but the ball goes wide of the mark.
76'
Substitution
Fousseni Diabate (on). Kelechi Iheanacho (off). (Leicester City)
76'
SUB
Leicester make a change now as Fousseni Diabate comes on for Kelechi Iheanacho as the Foxes look to get themselves ahead.
8'
TAKEN WELL
Oriol Romeu controls a tricky pass welland takes it round Adrien Silva in one move. He then looks to slip Shane Long through but it's intercepted well and Leicester have possession again.
73'
Substitution
Charlie Austin (on). Shane Long (off). (Southampton)
73'
CHANGE
We have the first change of the game and it's for the away side as Charlie Austin replaces Shane Long.
69'
CORNER
With just over 20 minutes to go we are still yet to have the breakthrough but the home side have a corner which sees the big men from the back go up. It's aimed at Harry Maguire but it's a Southampton body who gets to it first to clear.
65'
SAVED
A cross from the right is sent into the Leicester box and it looks like it may drop into the top corner but there is Hamer to get a strong hand to it while keeping it in play.
61'
OFF
Vardy thinks he's in after having beat the defence but a delayed flag from the linesman means play is dragged back.
58'
Substitution
Steven Davis (on). James Ward-Prowse (off). (Southampton)
57'
FANTASTIC SAVE
What a save from Ben Hamer! A shot from the edge of the box takes a nick off Aleksandar Dragovic and drops kindly to Long six yards out. He smashes it goalwards on the turn but Hamer, who keeps himself big, saves it brilliantly with his arm. The visitors must be wondering how they haven't scored.
55'
CROSSES
Southampton have another half-decent chance through Long again but once more the Irish forward fails to create anything. Both sides must be thinking about a change soon.
50'
COUNTER
The hosts start the better this second half and come forward with meance on the break.
46'
SECOND HALF
The second half is up and running. No changes for either side.
45'
HALF TIME REPORT
It's goalless between Leicester and Southampton at half time in what has been a game with a typical end of the season feel. Neither side has created anything of note with Jamie Vardy seeing a shot deflected wide of the goal while Kelechi Iheanacho curled one just past the far post. Southampton's main chance came just before half time; Shane Long fluffed his lines when he had Dusan Tadic in space with a gaping goal. Hopefully we'll have more action in the second half.
45'
HALF TIME
There will be no added minutes and it's 0-0 at the break.
43'
FLOP
Big chance for Southampton to take the lead here but they mess it up big style. Long is played in down the left-of-centre by James Ward-Prowse and he looks to knock it across to Dusan Tadic with the outside of his boot for a tap-in but ends up flicking it softly at Ben Hamer who claims easily. The look on Mark Hughes' face is priceless.
41'
LOW CROSS
Southampton are back up the other end now and it's with Ryan Bertrand but his cross to the penalty spot is cut out by Harry Maguire who clears for a throw-in. Just under give minutes to go until the break.
37'
CROSS BOMBARDMENT
More home pressure and crosses from each flank from Gray and Albrighton cause no danger for the Saints' defence.
33'
NOT QUICK ENOUGH
Marc Albrighton plays over a superb diagonal cross for Vardy to chase and it looks as if the forward is in on goal but a dodgy bounce takes it away from him and out for a goal kick.
30'
FIFTEEN TO GO
With half an hour on the clock here we're still goalless and have lacked any real goalmouth chances. Both strikers haven't gotten the service they desire.
26'
CORNER
Corner for the hosts now as they keep up the pressure but the delivery from Riyad Mahrez is poor and Alex McCarthy claims gratefully from the air.
22'
COUNTER
Leicester move forward with pace again and Demarai Gray has acres of space to shift into but a heavy touch sees him lose the ball on the edge of the area.
19'
CROSS
James Ward-Prowse has a stunning cross on him and delivers a great ball to the far post where Dusan Tadic is waiting, but Aleksandar Dragovic has it covered and heads away.
12'
TEMPO
Southampton have the ball back now and are taking their time as they play some neat build-up football however they can't get through a stubborn home defence and lose out once more.
4'
FIRST CHANCE
The home side win the first chance of the game and it's on the counter. The ball comes to Kelechi Iheanacho in the attack who slides in captain for the evening Jamie Vardy but his effort is deflected out for a corner.
1'
UNDER WAY
The game is under way!

PREVIEW
Leicester welcome relegation-threatened Southampton to the King Power tonight as the Foxes look to keep alive their slim hopes of European football next season however, nine points adrift with five games left it's safe to say it looks bleak for the hosts. Claude Puel's side are looking to avoid a run of three successive defeats for the first time since the start of last year when they went five games without gaining a point or scoring a single goal. The Foxes lost out narrowly last time out as they went down 2-1 at Burnley at the weekend but put in a valiant performance. Today's visitors need to start picking up points as soon as possible if they're to avoid a first relegation from the top flight since 2005 and with five points separating them and 17th placed Palace, tonight seems the ideal place; Saints however are bottom of the form table and have lost their last four games, throwing away the last two against Chelsea and Arsenal from winning positions. It's just one win since November for Mark Hughes' new side and that came at bottom club West Brom at the start of February. Join Liam Fountain from 7:45pm BST for all the live action and commentary from the game.
