That goal was an utter disaster from a Leicester point of view. A long, hoofed clearance from Florian Lejeune was simply not dealt with by either Harry Maguire or Wes Morgan, who both looked to each other to deal with it. Ayoze Perez leapt at the chance and scooped a lovely shot over the onrushing Schmeichel and Newcastle go 2-0 up.
