FC Pune City grab all 3 points
An exciting game of football is what we witnessed here in Pune. FC Pune City bagged all three points courtesy Marcelo Pereira's rocket and Marko Stankovic's cool penalty. After a tactical first half, the second half started in a similar fashion but once the clock ticked past the 50-minute mark it became an end-to-end game. Kamaljit Singh made an error but wasn't made to pay for it. Apart from that, he was unbeatable tonight. He kept FC Pune City in the hunt and there was no way past him tonight for FC Goa. Marcelinho opened the scoring in the 74th minute with a thunderous shot. FC Goa tried to equalise straightaway and came very close to it after Ahmed Jahouh's shot rattled off the post in the 76th minute. They kept going for the equaliser but couldn't find it. Substitute Stankovic killed the game and doubled the lead deep in added time from the spot after he was brought down by Mohammed Ali. This is an important win for FC Pune City as they are still in the hunt to make it to the top 4.

Second Half
FC Goa will get us underway in this half. Can they break the deadlock?
Goalless affair so far
A cagey half of football comes to an end. FC Goa started on the front foot having some good possession of the ball. Edu Bedia did have the best chance of the match when his shot hit the crossbar. There was some good defending from both the sides. For the Stallions, Marcelo Pereira had the only shot which was easily saved by Nawaz. Tackles were flying in from both the sides. In the second half, both the teams will like to attack more and get a goal early. Should be a interesting one.

Tackles flying in
Marcelo Pereira runs forward with the ball in the middle of the park. and Mandar Rao Dessai fouls him in the process. Looks like a yellow card. But referee decides against it.

Hello, everyone!
Welcome to match 54 of this edition's Indian Super League where FC Pune City host FC Goa. Two sides who are on opposite ends of the league table. The hosts find themselves on 8th place after playing 11 games. The have won only 2 matches till now. They would like to build on from their previous win but the side they host for this one are a completely different force. Pune City would want their star forward Marcelinho to find his scoring touch once again after finding the back of the net in the previous game for only the second time this season. This has been his worst season so far but he would hope to go on a late surge. He did score against FC Goa in the reverse fixture this season where Pune City lost 4-2. FC Goa are in red-hot scoring form. They have scored 22 goals this season and Corominas has scored 8 of them. He loves playing against FC Pune City and has scored 4 against them in two games. The Gaurs are fourth on the table but have played 2 games fewer than NorthEast United FC and Mumbai City FC who are on 3rd and 2nd place respectively. A win here against FC Pune City will see them move to 3rd on the table, 1 point behind the Islanders. This fixture has been a high-scoring one and always been an exciting game.
