Adios
That's all we have from this one-sided affair! After a break of two days, ISL action will resume as ATK FC will host Bengaluru FC in a tasty clash. Do join us on Wednesday at 1930 IST for all the action. Cheers!
Awards
FC Goa collect the Club Award for winning the match this evening. Mourtada Fall is given the Limitless Player of the Match Award. Hugo Boumous bags the Winning Pass of the Match Award. Shubham Sarangi takes home the Emerging Player of the Match Award and Ferran Corominas is the unanimous choice for the Hero of the Match Award.
Domination by FC Goa!
Thorough domination by the Gaurs! They were expected to bulldoze Odisha FC and they have done exactly that. The hosts enjoyed more possession in the first half and got their noses in front in the 19th minute through Ferran Corominas' goal. Odisha FC were nowhere to be seen in the first 45 as they hardly tested the Goa's backline. The picture changed slightly after the halftime break as Odisha FC came out with better intent. They managed to create a few threatening moves but failed to get the finishing touches. Brandon Fernandes made it 2-0 in the 85th minute and the writing was on the wall. The penalty conceded four minutes after that meant that it was game, set and match for FC Goa as Ferran Corominas converted it to bag a brace. Courtesy this win, the Gaurs complete a hat-trick of victories this season and jump to the top of the table.

90'
Added time
4 minutes have been added to this half which begins with a free kick from Xisco Hernandez. It's wide of the mark though.

GOOALLLL
2-0, FC Goa! That should be shutter down for Odisha FC! Brilliant finish by Brandon Fernandes. Once again Edu Bedia and Ferran Corominas are the play makers. The former plays it to Coro who has his back to the goal and hence lays it off for Brandon Fernandes. Brandon takes a full-blooded shot from outside the box and nails it past the keeper.

81'
Wasted attempt
Edu Bedia and Ferran Corominas combine to create another move. They play one-two and then Coro runs across to his left before taking the shot. Hits it well wide. In fact it took the deflection off a defender. Corner loading.

Top save by Arshdeep
Arshdeep Singh keeps his team in the game! Ferran Corominas gets hold of the ball and runs forward with a couple of markers. The Spaniard then nudges it in the path of Seiminlen Doungel who barges inside the box and drills his shot. Arshdeep Singh though stands strong and makes the stop.
58'
Almost the equalizer!
Narayan Das gets the ball on the left side and lobs in a lovely cross inside the box. It finds the head of Xisco Hernandez but the keeper does well to block it out. This shows that just a goal advantage ain't enough for the Gaurs.
57'
Terrible cross
It started with a nice pass from the young man, Gaurav Bora. He releases it at the feet of Narayan Das on the left flank whose attempted cross goes well over at the other side.
54'
Straight to the keeper
Ferran Corominas in the thick of things once more. He squares it up for Brandon Fernandes from the left side and Fernandes goes for a big attempt from outside the box. Fails to beat the keeper though.
51'
Almost 2-0
Seiminlen Doungel with a good touch from the right sets it up for Hugo Boumous inside the box who reaches the byline and then crosses it at the face of goal. Ferran Corominas at the far end fails to sort his feet and it clips his left leg before going out for a goalkick.

Odisha FC are done with all their three changes. Jerry Mawihmingthanga is removed as he seems to have a knock and in comes Romeo Fernandes in his place.

Resumption
Odisha FC get us underway for the second half. They are trailing by a goal and would like to get away with it as soon as possible. A couple of changes made by them - Xisco Hernandez and Gaurav Bora are on the field now in place of Diawandou Diagne and Daniel Lalhlimpuia.

All FC Goa!
As expected, the Gaurs are ruling the roost in this match and are calling the shots. Ferran Corominas put them ahead in the 19th minute and from thereon, Odisha FC have played only catch-up. They didn't get much possession to create threatening moves and the closest they got to scoring a goal was two minutes before the first goal when Aridane Santana's header went well over the bar. The visiting team will have to bring their best game to the fore in the next half if they want to take anything from this clash. Do join us in a short while.
45'
Well wide!
Aridane Santana takes the free kick from 25-yards out but his attempt doesn't even test the keeper. That's the last action of this half as the referee blows his whistle.
45'
Added time
2 minutes have been added to this half.
43'
Yellow for Carlos Delgado
Delgado brings down Ferran Corominas with a bad tackle and the referee flashes the yellow card. FC Goa are awarded a free kick from 30-yards out but Ahmed Jahouh's attempt is way off target.
43'

42'
Clueless Odisha FC
The visiting team has not managed to do anything substantial to scare the Gaurs. They are seeing very less of the ball and are really lucky to be only one goal down. Their midfield needs to show more creativity.
37'
Hits the wall
Odisha FC win a free kick in the opposition half. Martin Guedes stands up to take it but his kick goes straight on to collide with the wall. FC Goa break on the counter after that but Hugo Boumous' final touch inside the box is blocked well by Marcos Tebar.
34'
Goa in control
FC Goa are toying with Odisha FC. The Gaurs are keeping the ball with themselves and passing around at will. Don't be surprised if they create yet another move and go two goals ahead.
29'
Misses by a whisker!
Brilliant passing game by Aridane Santana as he takes the ball on the left and delivers a lovely through ball for Martin Guedes who enters the box and goes for a shot from a narrow angle. It goes right across the face of the goal and misses the far post by a whisker. At least something from Odisha FC!
26'
Off target
Ferran Corominas collects the ball again and gets inside the box. He then passes it outside for Lenny Rodrigues who goes for a curler at the far post. Doesn't get the execution right and it goes out for a goal kick.
25'
Blocked by Arshdeep Singh
Ferran Corominas once again has the ball with him at the edge of the penalty box. He is getting marked in front so cleverly, the Spaniard passes it out to Seiminlen Doungel who takes a full-blooded shot on target. Arshdeep Singh comes in the way and pushes it out for a corner. Nothing comes out from it.

21'
Injury
Jackichand Singh seems to have injured himself and can no longer take part in this match. Seiminlen Doungel replaces him on the field.
19'
GOALLLLL
No surprises here! FC Goa are ahead in the 19th minute and it's their talisman, Coro, to open their account. The attack started from the middle of the park by Jackichand Singh who set Hugo Boumous free on the right. Hugo barges inside the box and cuts it at the centre of the box from near the byline. Ferran Corominas is perfectly positioned to take the shot and he slots it home at the bottom left corner.

17'
Off target
Odisha FC at last knock on the door. Nandhakumar Sekar is set free on the left wing and sends in a good cross in the centre of the box. Aridane Santana leaps to head it but his attempt goes over the crossbar.
14'
Possession game
In their true style, FC Goa have maintained most possession and have looked the best team on the pitch so far. Odisha FC are playing catch-up currently and need to get in with better plans.
10'
Foul and Free kick
Hugo Boumous gives a nice cross to Brandon Fernandes on the left flank but he is brought down by Shubham Sarangi. Free kick loading but it's headed out to safety by Narayan Das.
7'
Good move but didn't materialize!
Brandon Fernandes stands up to take the free kick and swings it inside the box. It's headed out by Shubham Sarangi and the ball falls to Hugo Boumous. Boumous then runs in with the ball inside the box from the left side, crosses it across to his right but it's cleared after that. FC Goa are the more dominant side at the moment.
5'
Yet another attack
This one ends with a foul. Ferran Corominas is in the possession of the ball and tries to release Jackichand Singh to his right. However, Singh is tackled from behind by Narayan Das. A free kick just outside the box for FC Goa!
3'
Deflected away
Some excellent skills shown by Mourtada Fall and he releases Hugo Boumous with a deft touch. The ball falls in the path of Boumous who takes a long shot from outside the box but Diawandou Diagne does well to intercept.
2'
Early move from FC Goa
Brandon Fernandes chips in a lovely ball for Mandar Rao Dessai on the left flank who runs in and enters the penalty box. Although his cross at the face of goal fails to find the touch of Ferran Corominas.
1'
Kick off
FC Goa get the first touch on the ball and we are underway. It's a jam-packed stadium here and we are expecting a cracking contest. Let's football.

Matchday!
Game 44 sees FC Goa welcome Odisha FC. A clash between one side which will be looking to go on top of the table with a win and the other looking to close in the gap between them and the top 4. The hosts are favourite as they are a far balanced side compared to their opponents and are also on a roll. The hosts head into this game on a two-match winning streak. The return of Corominas makes them an even dangerous side. Brandon has been excellent in the midfield so far and their defense has also been impressive. A win here will see them go on top of the table and they would be eager to do so. Odisha FC, on the other hand, have lacked consistency in the tournament. They have won just the two games, lost three and drawn the rest. They need to stitch a few wins together starting from tonight but they will have to be at their best if they are to do so. Players like Santana and Hernandez will have to step up in the attacking department. It is their defense though which has been an issue and they are up against a side which has a very good attack. Their A-game has to come to the fore if they are to pull a surprise win. Do we have an upset on the cards?
