FC Goa climb to the top
What an exciting finish to the game! At the halfway mark, none would've thought that Kerala Blasters FC would be able to equalize. However, they came out all guns blazing in the second 45 with Messi Bouli and Bartholomew Ogbeche scoring in 53rd and 69th minutes respectively. The game opened up after that with both teams going for the winner. In the 83rd minute, Hugo Boumous' stunning strike helped the Gaurs in regaining the lead and they ended with three points to climb to the top of the points table.

Ruthless FC Goa on top!
A brilliant finish to the first half for the Gaurs. In the initial few minutes, Kerala Blasters FC were keeping the ball with them and one would've assumed that they might open the goal-scoring. However, Hugo Boumous was the first man to score as he combined with his skipper in the 26th minute. After that goal, Kerala Blasters FC attackers were hardly seen in the opposition box. In fact, Bartholomew Ogbeche and Messi Bouli were seen defending during the middle phase of this half. The Gaurs eventually found their second goal in the injury time when Jackichand Singh sweetly doubled the goal through a cross from Ferran Corominas. They could've easily been 3-0 had Ogbeche not made a vital goalline clearance in the 22nd minute. Now, Ogbeche and his men have an uphill task in front of them in the final 45. Let's see if they can do something extraordinary to challenge the hosts.

Important clash for different reasons
It is time for the game no. 67 of the Indian Super League where FC Goa play host to Kerala Blasters FC. This game is a very vital one for the visitors if they are to stay in the reckoning for the final 4 places. Their chances took a massive dive when they suffered a 3-2 loss against Jamshedpur FC. They now face the Gaurs in a virtual must-win game. For Kerala Blasters FC, Bartholomew Ogbeche and Messi Bouli have been brilliant in the attacking front. However, it is not going to be an easy outing for them as FC Goa are the side that has conceded the least number of goals at home this season. The attacking duo will hope for support from the likes of Seityasen Singh, Halicharan Narzary and Mario Arques. Now, their real trouble has been at the back. To add to their misery, Abdul Hakku has been suspended. They will need a big effort from the likes of Mohamad Rakip, Jessel Carneiro, Raju Gaikwad, and Vlatko Drobarov to contain Goa's attacking firepower. The hosts, on the other hand, too are coming off a defeat against ATK FC and would be eager to return to winning ways. A win here will take them at the top of the points table and the Gaurs would love to get to that position. In their head-to-head count, FC Goa edge out the visitors and would look to continue their winning run over them. The likes of Hugo Boumous, Ferran Corominas and Brandon Fernandes would look to score against the troubled backline of Kerala. At the defensive front, Carlos Pena, Mourtada Fall, and Ahmed Jahouh will look to stop the attack from Ogbeche and Bouli. It promises to be one exciting game of this season. Stay with us to find out.
