Adios!
That is it from this game then. We have new leaders but it is quite early in the ISL. The action continues on Monday as well as Jamshedpur FC take on Kerala Blasters FC in the former's den at 1930 IST. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Awards!
FC Goa win the Club Award as they are the winners today. Marcelo Pereira is the Limitless Player of the Match. Ferran Corominas is given the Winning Pass of the Match. Mohammad Nawaz is deemed the Emerging Player of the Match. Ahmed Jahouh takes the Hero of the Match Award.
Three points to FC Goa!
So a goal-less second half sees FC Goa take all three points. They went into the break with a two-goal cushion and have held onto it. FC Pune City came out all guns blazing and they started off brightly. They even won a penalty early in the second half but Mohammad Nawaz saved Emiliano Alfaro's effort. That was the best chance of the half for them. They failed to create any real opportunities after that. FC Goa then had the better of the chances. It all fell to Ferran Corominas, out of which one was cleared off the line and the other was off target. There were moments of madness towards the end as the ref showed two red cards, one to each team. Diego Carlos and Ferran Corominas were the recipients. However, the hosts will be happy with the fact that they have now moved to the top of the table with a win.

Full time!
Peep, peep, peep, the ref blows the whistle and it is FC Goa who win the game.
90'
Added time!
4 minutes have been added to the 90.
90'
Another straight red!
For FC Goa this time. Ferran Corominas is the one who has been sent off. A needless challenge this one. A high footed slide tackle on Marko Stankovic. Catches the player and Coro has been given his marching orders.

Straight red!
For Diego Carlos, the substitute and rightly so. That was a poor, poor tackle by Oliveira. He had no intentions of going for the ball there. Out of frustration he jabs Seriton Fernandes and the ref straightaway takes the red card out. Emiliano Alfaro is seen complainging, don't know for what and he has also been shown the yellow.

A long ball from the back is headed out towards Coro. He sees the keeper is off his line, tries to chip but does not hit the target.
80'
Not a lot of time left!
10 minutes plus added time to go now. FC Pune City are two goals behind. Can they pull of a miracle. FC Goa on the other hand, have made a substitution as Jackichand Singh goes out and Brandon Fernandes comes in.

Cleared!
Off the line! Coro was inches away from his hat-trick. He tries to roll it into the net from the right. Almost is successful but Ashutosh Mehta hits it out with a slide but then bumps into the post.

SAVED!
Emiliano Alfaro fails to convert it. But what a save by Mohammad Nawaz. He guesses the right way as he dives to his right. The shot comes at a comfortable height and Nawaz saves it out for a corner.
54'
Penalty...
For FC Pune City! They have a chance to reduce the deficit now. Emiliano Alfaro is in the box and just as he goes to pull the trigger he has been brought dow by Chinglensana Singh who has a hold of his shirt.
50'
End-to-end stuff!
Mandar Rao Dessai first has a shot on target for FC Goa but it is straight to the keeper. FC Pune City then break ahead and Ashique Kuruniyan is set free on the right-hand side of the box. He puts his laces through it but it is high and wide.
46'
Saved!
We are back from where we left off! FC Pune City are straightaway onto the attack. Marcelo Pereira plays a brilliant backheel for Emiliano Alfaro. He taps it ahead and shoots it towards the near post from thr right. Mohammad Nawaz though saves it and it goes out for a corner.
46'
Second 45...
We are back for the second half. It is the home side which will get us underway this time.
Half Time
The ref blows the whistle at the end of the two minutes added time and the players make their way into the tunnel. GOALS GALORE! That is how you can describe this half. WOW! We finally get a breather as there was hardly one in the first 45. The scoreline reads 4-2 and trust me, it could have been a lot more. It was the hosts who took the lead through Ferran Corominas but FC Pune City equalized within minutes through Marcelo Pereira. However, FC Goa scored two after that but FC Pune City did manage to pull one back through Emiliano Alfaro in the 23rd minute. There were plenty of chances created after that but it was FC Goa who doubled their lead once again as Coro scored his second. There was drama late in the half as Pereira struck the post in the dying seconds of the half. We still have one more half left and by the look of things, we can surely be in for some more goals. Do join us for what could be another exciting half.
45'
Off the post!
Attack after attack, attack after attack. Marko Stankovic puts Marcelo Pereira through on the left-hand side of the box. The latter tries to hit the roof of the net but the ball hits the crossbar and goes out of play. FC Pune City were inches away from pulling one back.
43'
Yellow card!
First of the game and it has been shown to a FC Goa player. Mandar Rao Dessai brings down Marcelo Pereira and the ref has written his name in the book.

Another block!
Another lovely cut back from Jackichand Singh finds Ferran Corominas. He takes a lovely touch and then fires a shot on goal but it is Gurtej Singh who puts his body on line and blocks it. This time the ball is out of the danger zone.
35'
GOALLLL!
6th goal of the half and we still have around 10 minutes left. Ferran Corominas receives a cut back from Jackichand Singh. He takes a shot which is brilliantly blocked by Gurtej Singh. However, to Coro fortune, the ball falls to him and then it is an easy finish for him. The hosts have regained their two-goal lead.

Tipped over!
Once again it is Jackichand Singh who has a shot on target. He plays a one-two with Ahmed Jahouh and then blasts it on goal with his left leg from the left side. Vishal Kaith though is up for the task as he makes a very good save. A corner for FC Goa but nothing comes off it.
28'
Just wide!
FC Pune City were inches away from the equalizer. Marcelo Pereira almost curls a free kick in from the right. His effort though goes just wide.
23'
GOALL!
FC Pune City have pulled one back. What is going on here? Every shot seems to be hitting the back of the net. Emiliano Alfaro goes past a defender on the right and then fires it towards the far post leaving the keeper no chance. GAME ON HERE!

GOALLL!
FC Goa now have breathing space as Jackichand Singh has doubled their lead. But how selfless was Ferran Corominas there? He is set through on goal by Seriton Fernandes. He is one-on-one with the keeper but does not take the shot. Sees Singh on his left, he knows he would have an easier finish, squares it to him and Jackichand finishes it.

Goal?
No, it is flagged as an offside. Seriton Fernandes first puts in a cross but it is a touch heavy. It falls to Jackichand Singh at the other side. He passes it to Mandar Rao Dessai who passes it back to him. Singh does finish it but the linesman has his flag up.
12'
GOALLL!
FC Goa have taken the lead once again! The hosts have had two shots on target and they have scored on both. Hugo Boumous started the attack and he finished it. He passes it to Ferran Corominas and then continues his run into the box. The latter then chips it between the defenders in the centre. Boumous rises high and heads to the left of the keeper. 2-1 and only 12 minutes of the game have passed.

GOALLL!
What a response from FC Pune City. They are level within minutes of conceding and what an equalizer it is. Brilliant! Marcelo Pereira receives a ball from the left. He is just inside the box but the angle is quite against him. He still goes for goal and somehow gets it over the outstretched hand of the keeper and then also gets it to dip in time as the ball hits the net. What a start we have had to the game.

GOALLLL!
FC Goa have taken the lead and Ferran Corominas is the scorer. Excellent goal by the forward. A brilliant long ball over the defense from Ahmed Jahouh for Telechea. He heads it ahead and then runs towrads goal. There is a defender with him. Ferran, however, takes a touch ahead and then finishes it brilliantly towards the far post. The hosts are up and running and the crowd here is ecstatic.

Game no. 21 and it is a clash between FC Goa and FC Pune City in the former's den. The two teams have had contrasting fates so far in the tournament. One is doing extremely well and lies second on the table and the other is yet to taste victory and is rockbottom. A win here for the hosts will see them move to the top of the table. The away side though will be eager to bag its first win. The last encounter between the two was a one-sided affair, where the hosts won easily. They are favorites to bag all three points here as well. Let us hope we get an exciting game here tonight.
