Goa end on a high!
Party time for FC Goa as they have ended their last league game on a high! It was a another solid performanced from the hosts and bag another clean sheet. After taking the lead in the first half, Goa were happy to play on the merit. They didn't play their usual attacking game as they had a plan for today. Kept the ball well and didn't allow Chennai any breakthrough. They could have been more clinical as they had half chances come their way but that should not bother them much. Chennai had an improve performance in the second 45. They played on the counter but couldn't find the goal they needed. The Machans had their luck but not enough to get through this game. Their poor away form continued and they cannot end their season on a high. They have to be happy with the wodden spoon for now. For Goa, happier times are yet to be seen as they will compete in the last four in few days from now.

Goa on top after 45 minutes
Corominas bags another goal at work and that is enough for Goa to head into the break with the lead. The game was a bit cagey to start with. Both teams were happy to play from the back. It was Goa to break the deadlock. A lovely pass from Jahouh and Jacki meant that Coro got in the scoreshet yet again. Chennai caught Goa on the counter a couple of times but couldn't find the back of the net. No clear chances from either as of now but plently to look for in the next half. Stay with us.

Chennaiyin FC travel to Goa for the final game of their season
Hello and welcome to our coverage of match 87 between hosts Goa and visitors Chennai. Out of the 12 previous matches between these sides, only one has been a draw with the Super Machans winning one more than the Gaurs. But not this season, there is a big gap between these two teams. While Goa have the best goal difference, Chennai have the worst. It is the last game for both the sides. If Chennaiyin lose this one, they will equal the record of NorthEast for most losses in a season and also end with single digit points. What is more worrying is Chennai's away form. They have just won a single game on the road conceding the most goals. On the flip side, Goa have lost just one game at home scoring the most. Contrasting affairs here but don't think any team will take this lightly. Join us in a while for live action.
