Goal
Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth)

BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
GOOOAAALLL!!! Both of these sides' fate is surely sealed now as Junior Stanislas gives Bournemouth the lead with a world class free-kick! A winner at the death!
9'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Jordon Ibe is back in the Cherries team today after some injury problems, and he's seeing a good bit of the ball with his orange boots twinkling over the turf he looks up for it. Bournemouth are beginning to get into a rhythm now and pressing the Albion defence.
87'
Yellow Card
Craig Dawson (West Bromwich Albion)
87'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
Alan Pardew confusingly takes off his main man Jay Rodriguez for Hal Robson-Kanu as he goes for the goal that would give them at least some hope.
86'
Substitution
Hal Robson-Kanu (on). Jay Rodriguez (off). (West Bromwich Albion)
85'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
The worrying thing for West Brom going forward is that their approach to games seems to be try and nick an unlikely goal and then hold on for the rest of the game. The way they are playing, though, that tactic simply will not work as often as they need it to as the games start to run out.
83'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
We are into the last ten minutes now, and while they may be the home team, you get the sense Bournemouth will be the happier of the two with a point. A draw would be a massive step towards safety, while this is a big step towards the drop for West Brom. Still time for another twist in the tale, however.
82'
Substitution
Sam Field (on). Chris Brunt (off). (West Bromwich Albion)
81'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
That goal has changed the momentum of the match again, with the visitors now piling men forward as they seek a goal they so desperately need. A draw simply isn't enough for Alan Pardew's men.
79'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
That is a ground swallow me up moment from Ben Foster. The usually reliable goalkeeper should easily parry away an ambitious Ibe effort from range, but he gets it all wrong, feebly tipping it into the far corner. That is a hammer blow for the Baggies.
78'
BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 WEST BROM
GOOOAAALLL!!! Huge goal! Massive strike of the right foot of Jordon Ibe as he equalises for Bournemouth and completely changes the landscape at the bottom of the table!
77'
Goal
Jordon Ibe. Assist by Charlie Daniels (Bournemouth)
77'
Substitution
Matt Phillips (on). Jonny Evans (off). (West Bromwich Albion)
76'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
Another injury enforced substitution, as captain Jonny Evans hobbles off for the Baggies, with Matt Phillips the man to come on. That will mean a tactical reshuffle from Alan Pardew, but that is a big loss for the visitors.
74'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
That's more like it from Rondon as he forces a corner from Ake to the delight of the travelling fans. That came seconds after Junior Stanislas sent a header just over the bar from a corner.
73'
Substitution
Jermain Defoe (on). Callum Wilson (off). (Bournemouth)
72'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
Alan Pardew will be looking to Salomon Rondon to hold the ball up and take some of the pressure off his side as they try and see this out, but the ball is coming back as soon as West Brom get rid of it at the moment.
70'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
We are into the last 20 minutes now and Jermain Defoe is being readied on the touchline. Time for the return of a hero?
68'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
Bournemouth are doing all of the pressing as we tick into the last quarter of this match, but they haven't really created any chances of note. This is a very worrying showing from the men in red and black.
66'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
How are results panning out elsewhere, I hear you cry. Well, the big news is that Stoke are losing at home to Everton and are down to ten men, while Crystal Palace are beating Huddersfield 2-0 away from home.
64'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
The only thing the home side are really offering is crosses from wide positions, but even in their current crisis, that will be meat and drink to the Baggies' backline. They are struggling to break down their stubborn opponents at present.
62'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
There is a strange atmosphere in the stadium now as the home fans come to terms with the fact they are losing to the out-of-form team in the league and getting sucked back into the fight at the bottom. They have enough quality in their squad to get back into this, and there is plenty of time left, mind.
60'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
We are into the last half an hour at the Vitality Stadium and the nerves will be jangling for Alan Pardew and his boys as they are getting closer to a huge, huge win in their unlikely quest for survival. As for the home side, they will be very conscious of how close they are to slipping back into the dogfight.
58'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
The answer to my last question is a resounding yes. On comes Lys Mousset for the visitors, with the stricken Adam Smith trudging off disconsolately. Will this prompt a switch to a back three for Bournemouth I wonder?
57'
Substitution
Lys Mousset (on). Adam Smith (off). (Bournemouth)
56'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
The Cherries have already had to contend with an injury this afternoon, and this doesn;t look good for Adam Smith as he is down in a heap in the centre circle with the resigned look of a man who knows his race is run for the day. Will Eddie Howe make an attacking change?
54'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
This has not been an assured response to taking the lead from the Baggies, as it is all Bournemouth now as they have been stung into life. Ben Foster struggles to deal with a couple of dangerous crosses and there are nerves aplenty in that back five at the moment.
52'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
Almost an instantaneous response from the hosts as a corner is poorly defended by West Brom, with Steve Cook sending a volley over the bar on the turn from the loose ball. This second half has already had more action than the entirety of the first 45 minutes.
50'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
Is the fightback on? It's a goal steeped in simplicity as Kieran Gibbs does really well to make the byline before floating a teasing cross to the back post. Rondon gets up brilliantly to head it back into the path of Rodriguez, who makes the most of slack Bournemouth marking to prod home from two yards out.
49'
Goal
Jay Rodriguez. Assist by Salomon Rondon (West Bromwich Albion)
49'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 WEST BROM
GOOOAAALLL!!! Massive, massive goal at the bottom as Jay Rodriguez gives West Brom the lead with a close range finish!
40'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
This has not been a classic by any stretch of any imagination. The home team continue to look decidedly wobbly and are finding it hard to string two passes together. The edginess is beginning to pervade the crowd as well. West Brom have not the quality unfortunately to take advantage, and certainly a point will do them no good whatever at this stage of the season.
35'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Adam Smith and Jake Livermore go into referee Graham Scotts' book after a tackle by Smith and an ensuing kerfuffle. Ten minutes to half time and it remains 0 - 0.
34'
Yellow Card
Jake Livermore (West Bromwich Albion)
4'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Bournemouth are playing a 4-4-2 today while the visitors are set up 3-5-2. So, different tactical set ups, let's see how it goes as the snow lets up slightly.
33'
Yellow Card
Adam Smith (Bournemouth)
30'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
A great chance for the Cherries this time as King feeds Stanislas in space. But just as he cuts back and is about to pull the trigger the chance is snuffed out by the Albion defence.
27'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Rondon has the best chance of the game so far. A free header which he glances towards the corner of goal but Begovic gets there. I have to say that again I think Rondon could have done better with that header.
24'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
We are just past the half way mark in this period and nothing much is happening at the moment, so I'll tell you that Crystal Palace have scored a vital goal at Huddersfield and lead 1 - 0.
21'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Bournemouth continue to look a bit edgy in this match with several misplaced passes yielding possession for the visitors. The Baggies aren't doing an awful lot with that possession and we need something to spark this game into life.
17'
Substitution
Charlie Daniels (on). Simon Francis (off). (Bournemouth)
17'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
It looks like Simon Francis is suffering with his hamstring. Charlie Daniels comes on as replacement and Steve Cook takes on the captaincy.
48'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 WEST BROM
This has been a lively start to the second period from West Brom as they charge forward down the left, with Salomon Rondon pulling down a left wing cross, swivelling and seeing his goalbound shot blocked. More like it.
46'
BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 WEST BROM
The second half is go at the Vitality Stadium - let's have some goalmouth action lads.
45'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Well the Baggies started out with a solid 3-5-2 set up, but at the moment they have changed to a 5-4-1 and seem to be looking for a smash and grab style win. I mentioned before that a point in this game is of absolutely no use to them so Alan Pardew needs to have a word at half time.
45'
H.T. BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
This has not been a brilliant watch, indeed more of a tough time. The Cherries are looking somewhat nervous and playing accordingly with little fluency. The Baggies began by looking to win the game, but have settled into a defensive strategy. There are no real incidents to report other than Simon Francis needing to be subbed on 16 minutes for Bournemouth and a couple of tame efforts by Rondon for Albion which barely troubled Begovic. Both teams could really do with the three points here so let's hope that Messrs Howe and Pardew have a lot to say at half time.
90'
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
There goes the final whistle at the Vitality Stadium and Bournemouth have secured a dramatic 2-1 win over West Brom.
90'
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
Drama! Charlie Daniels is the last gasp hero for Bournemouth as he somehow manages to block a Matt Phillips effort on the line! Was Phillips a bit too tame there? Any more powerful and that was in.
90'
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
Seconds left at the Vitality Stadium and the home fans have found their voice. Has this been the biggest last quarter of a game this season?
90'
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
We are into added time now and Alan Pardew looks a beaten man. Make no mistake about it - in the last half an hour or so West Brom have gone from having hope to acknowleding they are down, while Bournemouth have gone from fearing the drop to celebrating beating it. Football is mad isn't it?
90'
BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 WEST BROM
That is simply brilliant from Stanislas. At least 25 yards out, he bends a glorious effort up and over the wall and into the near corner from the left side of the pitch. Outstanding.
14'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
The Cherries have become a bit nervous since those chances, and west Brom are really in this game. An attack from the home team though is nearly profitable, but a looping header from Dan Gosling is calmly collected by Foster.
12'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Having said that a good break by Nyom down the right flank for Albion results in a dangerous cross across the goal which beats everyone. But could Rondon have flung himself at that? Moments later the same player gets a header in but it's a poor one straight at Begovic. Could have done better.
1'
BOURNEMOUTH 0 - 0 WEST BROM
Graham Scott get us under way, and West Brom immediately on the attack. Corner kick which finally ends up with a shot clearing Begovic's cross bar.

BOURNEMOUTH v WEST BROMWICH

BOURNEMOUTH v WEST BROMWICH
CHERRIES NEED TO PICK UP A RESULT It seems that throughout the course of a season Bournemouth go on runs where they flirt dangerously with the relegation zone, then pull away with a wonderful run of form before being pulled right back in again. At the moment they are in a transitional phase where they have a buffer from the bottom three, but their performances and results have begun to drift a little. A game against a desperately struggling team today is the perfect opportunity for the Cherries to get back on the straight and narrow and alleviate any lingering fears. However a loss at the Vitality Stadium would result in Eddie Howes' men and their fans casting very nervous glances over their shoulders. Over the last couple of years the South Coast outfit have never been considered in serious danger of the drop to the Championship, but should they suffer defeat this afternoon, such worries may just start to materialise. BAGGIES ON THE BRINK When the West Bromwich board decided to dispense with the services of the tried and trusted Tony Pulis for the more combustible and unpredictable figure of Alan Pardew at the end of last year the club were by no means in dire straits. Sure they were going through a rough spell, but you would not have predicted it becoming a terminal issue. Fast forward a couple of months and the Baggies are in deep crisis, with Pardew surely only surviving due to a lack of alternatives in the managerial department. The West Midlands outfit are now cut adrift at the foot of the table, in the throes of a devastating losing streak, and with key figures at the club disillusioned with just about everything. The visit to fellow strugglers Bournemouth this afternoon is a must win all things considered for Pardew and his boys, otherwise it's goodbye to the top flight for the Hawthorns faithful.
