Defending champions continue their undefeated start!
Perfect start for Bengaluru FC after the international break as they make it 2 wins in a row for the season. After an even first half, the home side were more aggressive in the second and their attacks bore rewards 10 minutes into the second half when their talisman, Sunil Chhetri found the back of the net with a diving header. Kerala Blasters FC tried their best but could not find a way past the Blues' backline. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was hardly ever tested. They did manage to find the back of the net but Rahul KP was flagged offside. With this result, the defending champions move to second in the standings. Kerala Blasters FC have a lot of work to do and need to come back stronger in their next game.

Goalless half in the Southern Derby!
End of an exciting but a goalless half of football here in Bengaluru. Kerala Blasters FC started off on the front foot but Bengaluru FC grew into the game. Both sides have managed to create a lot of chances but have failed to trouble the keepers. Just around the half-hour mark, it looked like Raphael Augusto had opened the scoring when he found the back of the net. The linesman blew his whistle signalling that Udanta's cross came when the ball went out of play. Three minutes before the half, Messi Bouli had the best chance to give the visitors the lead but he could not keep his calm and sent his shot flying over when he was one-on-one with the keeper. Both sides would look to improve their finishing when they come on for the second half. Can anyone break the deadlock in this evenly poised contest in the second half? Join us after the break to find out.
45'

42'
How has Messi Bouli messed that?
TP Rehenesh sends in a long clearance. Bartholomew Ogbeche tries to win it aerially but both the defender and Ogbeche miss it. It goes behind them and Messi Bouli is there to gather it. He beats his defender and is one-on-one with the keeper. Messi Bouli fails to keep his calm and blasts his effort way over the post. He cannot believe it, his manager cannot believe it and in all honesty even we cannot believe it that Bouli has missed that.
40'
Corner
Raphael Augusto beats his defender using his strength and skillfully goes to the left. He then lays it up for Ashique Kuruniyan. He sends a lovely through ball to find Sunil Chhetri. He beats his defender at the byline and looks to pull it back inside the box but it is cleared away by a Kerala Blasters FC defender. The resulting corner is dealt with by the visiting side.
36'
How has that not gone in?
Udanta Singh gets the ball just over the half line on the right. He sends an aerial ball to find Raphael Augusto inside the box. The ball is going away from Augusto. He pulls it back with a bit of power inside the box. It goes towards Albert Serran with power. Serran is unable to guide that on target.
35'

Bengaluru FC fail to make the most from the free kick. It is seen off by Kerala Blasters FC.
34'
Yellow card
Ashique Kuruniyan does really well to get away first from Prasanth Karuthadathkuni and then Mohamad Rakip. Rakip though pulls him back from behind. The referee does not like it and not just awards the free-kick but also books Mohamad Rakip. A good chance for the home side to whip in a good cross from the free kick.

19'
Wasteful corner
Dimas Delgado takes the corner from the left. He whips it in but it goes away on the far side for a goal kick. Waste of a corner this from the home side.
15'
Good chance goes begging

Southern Derby!
The football bandwagon is back after an international break. It is Bengaluru FC hosting Kerala Blasters FC in match 21 of the Indian Super League. The hosts will be high on confidence after they thrashed Chennaiyin FC in their previous encounter. That was also their first victory in this season. They have defended well in this season conceding only one goal so far. Rahul Bheke and Juanan have been superb in their defense. They would be hoping to put in another good performance to make their entry in the top four. In the centre, the hosts will be happy with the presence of Erik Paartalu. He was superb in the last game scoring a goal and helping his side win the game comfortably. Sunil Chhetri also got in the scoring books in the last game. He, along with Paartalu and Udanta Singh would hope for another terrific performance and state their authority over the visitors. Kerala Blasters FC, on the other hand, have just won a single game in this season and this match might not be easy for them as well as they have not beaten the hosts yet in this League. Their main players, Gianni Zuiverloon and Mario Arques are injured and the team would be hoping that they return to full fitness for this important clash. The Manjapadas have Sergio Cidoncha and Mouhamadou Gning as the midfielders. Bartholomew Ogbeche who was out injured in their previous game will be itching to get back on the pitch. He has never been able to score against the Blues and would be eager to do so in this encounter. These two sides have faced each other four times in ISL and the Blues have had the better of the visitors thrice while one ended in a draw. What will happen here? Will Bengaluru continue the winning momentum or will the visitors' get their first victory against the Blues? Team updates in a while.
