Full Time
A late winner from Udanta Singh seals a tough victory for the Blues at home. It would have ended as a game of mixed chances, had it not been for the 'Flash'. Both sides had plenty of clear opportunities to score on more than one occasion, with Xisco Hernandez's one-on-one the most notable of them in the second half, but neither could do so till the 87th minute. Eventually, Delhi were made to learn the hard way that if you don't take your chances, you pay the price for it. it was a good game on the whole, for the neutrals at least, as plenty happened from the first minute till the last. Back to the drawing board for Delhi, as they need to figure things out.

GOOALLL!!!!!
A goal in the dying minutes and Udanta Singh fires his side into the lead. All of Delhi's hard-fought resilience is broken. When lady luck is with you, there's just nothing the opposition can do about it. There's a scuffle at the edge of the box and it eventually rolls towards Udanta Singh off a deflection outside on the right-hand side. He shoots first time and drills it low into the far corner. Possibly the match-winner for the home side and the West Block Blues go wild. They're loving this!

Big miss!
A lovely ball chipped in by Udanta Singh to find Xisco Hernandez in the box. He takes it down, shoots but it's saved. It doesn't look like it's his day as he misses another opportunity to give Bengaluru the lead.
65'
Cagey stuff
This last phase of play hasn't seen any chances being created. Both teams remain quite compact, which is making it difficult to break through the middle.
60'
Change for Delhi
Rene Mihelic makes his way on the field as Adria Carmona comes off.

Decent Effort
Semboi Haokip plays a through ball to Khabra on the left who crosses it straight into the hands of the keeper. Khabra could have played in a better cross in the box as he had more time to deliver a useful cross.
55'
Another Bengaluru substitution
Semboi Haokip is on and he replaces Chencho Gyeltshen.

One more Delhi chance
Chhangte pokes it with the outside of his boot and plays Andrija Kaludjerovic in. He gets to the byline on the left and looks to pass it back. It deflects off a defender and falls towards Adria Carmona. He shoots on the volley but straight at the keeper.

A chance immediately
Udanta Singh from the right comes in the box and cuts it back to Sunil Chhetri. He shoots, but not too convincingly. Scuffs it wide of the far post.

Second Half
We are back for the resumption of play. Bengaluru will start proceedings now. Let's go...
Half Time
A riveting first 45 minutes of football. Bengaluru first started on the front foot, dominating proceedings and creating a couple of chances as well. But, as the game went on, the Dynamos slowly grew into the game and started to stamp their mark. Had some good chances, with a couple of them 1 v 1 with the keeper, but Gurpreet Singh Sandhu kept them all at bay and ensured the deadlock was maintained. Some tempers flew towards the end, but thankfully not much happened. It's all set up nicely and the second 45 is going to be lively for sure.
45'
There's the whistle
The ref brings a close to this half. It's even-stevens at the interval.
45'
Added Time
Just the 1 minute added to this half.
44'
What is happening here?
The players seem to be losing their cool it seems. Firstly, the hosts should have had a penalty as Marcos Tebar just pushed Xisco Hernandez across the byline when he was in the box. And then, Harmanjot Khabra got booked for catching Adria Carmona's foot.
44'

Yellow Card - Bengaluru FC : Harmanjot Khabra
41'
Another save from Gurpreet
He's keeping his side alive. Delhi are thoroughly dominating. Marcos Tebar plays Sekar through as he runs in behind the Bengaluru backline from the right. Gets inside the box, shoots from a narrow angle but Gurpreet sticks his leg out and saves it.
36'
Once more chance for Delhi
The game's really opened up now and the Dynamos are dominating proceedings. Chhangte has a lot of room on the left and he crosses it in with his left. Juanan heads it behind but it falls to Sekar. He takes a touch and shoots with his left, but it's blocked out by Rino Anto. It goes just over the crossbar.
31'
Big save from Gurpreet
Adria Carmona plays a lovely through ball and puts Chhangte one-on-one with the keeper. Only has Gurpreet to beat, the Bengaluru keeper does well to make himself big and stop the shot.
29'
Almost a blunder
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu nearly concedes a disastrous own goal. He takes too long to clear the ball at his feet, almost loses it but is lucky that Rino Anto is there to help him out. Put out of danger eventually.
27'
How has he missed?
Should be hitting the target at the very least. Sekar makes a brilliant run on the right wing and comes inside. Cuts it back to Andrija Kaludjerovic who shoots first time, but wide of the far post.
26'
Yellow for Adria Carmona
To begin with, the ball whipped in isn't as good as it should be. And then, when it's cleared out and Chhetri is breaking forward on the counter, the Delhi midfielder brings him down. Gets booked for it.
26'
Yellow Card
Yellow Card - Delhi Dynamos FC : Adria Perez
24'
Slowly growing
Delhi Dynamos are finding their feet as they are seeing more of the ball. They win a free kick outside the box on the left flank in a dangerous area. Adria Carmona to take this...
18'
Bengaluru start well
The hosts are the better of the two sides in the opening 18 minutes, but Delhi are holding their own for the time being. Though, unlike the Blues, the Dynamos are yet to create a good chance to score.
13'
Decent effort
Couldn't do much in the end. Gianni Zuiverloon plays it through to Chhangte and he does really well to poke it forward and power past two Bengaluru players. He's in the box on the left, but has no support inside. So he shoots, but way over.
10'
Big chance missed
Chencho Gyeltshen does extremely well to dance around his marker and eventually skip past him on the left. He gets inside the box, shoots looking to find the bottom right corner, but scuffs his shot well wide.
9'
Takes a heavy touch
Xisco Hernandez chips it over the Delhi backline well and puts it in his skipper's path. Chhetri runs forward with Pritam Kotal right beside him. Takes a touch too heavy which allows the keeper to come off his line and clear the ball away.
4'
A milestone for Captain Fantastic
Sunil Chhetri will be playing his 150th game for Bengaluru FC FC. Captain for club and country, he is one of India's finest. This match is a special occasion for him, so he'll like to make it count.

Hello, everyone!
Match 40 is about to take place and it's going to be a David vs Goliath battle as Bengaluru FC take on Delhi Dynamos FC. The hosts are a much better side overall, having more balance and quality in the side, but the head-to-head record is 1 win each out of 2 matches. Delhi will be wary of the fact that Bengaluru have gone unbeaten in 14 league matches, having won 12 and drawn 2. Though, what will encourage them is the fact that their opponents' last league stage defeat came against them only, back in ISL 4. It's going to be a big task for the away side, and if it is to beat the Blues, then it will have to begin by being more clinical in attack. They have a horrible shot accuracy and their goal conversion rate is the second worst as well. They are also wasteful in the attacking third with the second-highest bad passes (405), only second to Chennaiyin FC (406). A thing that will be playing on everyone's mind though, is the fact that the hosts will be missing a couple of key players in Miku and Erik Paartalu. Even if they don't miss out, they most certainly start. Maybe that could provide a psychological boost to the team from the capital? We'll find out what happens in this contest soon enough.
