Dempo sports club are all geared up to face a rampaging Al Kuwait in the pre-quarterfinals match to be held at Kuwait on May 26.
Dempo, who created history last year by reaching the semi-finals of the AFC Cup has also done well so far this season year in the AFC cup finishing second behind Al Majed of Syria in group E to qualify for the pre-quarterfinals.
They face tough opponent in Al Kuwait club who beat Mohun Bagan 6-0 at home and 1-0 in Kolkata to top the Group D.
But Dempo's coach Armando Colaco is confident that his team will do well against them to reach the quarter-finals.
"The boys have had an extended season, but I have asked them to come out with a positive attitude and give their best against Kuwait next week," he said.
"The AFC Cup has been a challenging affair this season with Dempo having to fight their way through to enter the round of 16 and one more win will take us through to the quarter-finals," the Dempo coach added.
"We have very little time to prepare but our boys are motivated to face the challenge in Kuwait and are hopeful that they will come out triumph," Colaco added.
