Bayern had their 13-match unbeaten run ended at Hanover on Sunday after suffering a 2-1 defeat in the German league, but Neuer said he expects the Bavarian giants to respond against minnows Ingolstadt in the cup.
"We won't drive ourselves mad," said the 25-year-old, who is Germany's first-choice goalkeeper.
"We still believe in ourselves and we'll set off on a new run, starting with the cup tie against Ingolstadt and then on Saturday in the league against Nuremberg."
Ingolstadt are at the foot of the second division table and Neuer says he expects a 'convincing win' from his team.
When Hanover striker Mohammed Abdellaoue converted a penalty past Neuer on Sunday, it broke the Bayern goalkeeper's 771st minute streak without conceding a goal.
"I'd have liked more clean sheets, but it was never our top priority," said Neuer, who has only conceded four goals all season.
"I'd rather we'd come away with the three points."
Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes has hinted he may rotate some of his squad to rest key players against Ingolstadt ahead of Saturday's German league clash with Nuremberg and next Wednesday's Champions League clash with Napoli.
"Could be," said Neuer, who would be only too pleased if number two keeper Joerg Butt had a run-out.
"If it happens, he's deserved it, although I'm delighted about every match I play."
