Bangladesh's Arambagh Sporting Club stormed into the final of the Governors' Gold Cup football tournament outclassing Nepal Football Association XI 3-1 in the first semifinal match at Namchi today.Hanif Pradhan scored a brace for the Bangla team and Mohd R Kanchan netted one more while Rajesh Shahi reduced the margin for the Nepal XI at the fag end of the match played at South Sikkim's Baichung stadium.Pradhan scored the first goal for his team four minutes before the interval as he tapped in a deflection off a rebound from the Nepal 'keeper.Seven minutes into the second session, the Bangla team increased the lead through Pradhan as he chested a pass from the left flank and pushed it to the goal through the second bar.The third goal was scored by Kanchan after he outwitted two Nepal defenders to score a spectacular goal.The Nepal side reduced the margin five minutes before the long whistle to make it 1-3. Bangladesh would now face the winner of tomorrow's match between Kolkata teams Mohun Bagan and Bhratri Sangha in the title clash on Saturday. (PTI)
