Spain’s World Cup-winning soccer team returned home on Monday to celebrate their success with the nation's fans. As part of the festivities the players and their coaching team took to a giant stage in Cebeles Square in Madrid on Monday evening, lifting the trophy and dancing and singing as they were greeted by loud cheers from the crowds gathered to congratulate the side. Earlier, the 26 players and their coaching staff met with the country’s royals, and then with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, after arriving in the Spanish capital a day after beating Argentina 1-0 in the final in New Jersey. The squad then boarded an open-top bus for a raucous parade through central Madrid.
