Salah Dancing In The Street! Joyful Egypt Captain Celebrates Nation's First World Cup Win

Egypt captain Mohamed Salah led the celebrations outside the team's hotel in Vancouver on Sunday after 'The Pharaohs' clinched their maiden win at a World Cup, coming from behind to beat New Zealand 3-1. The 34-year-old Salah scored what proved to be his side's winner midway through the second half at BC Place, then set up the last goal of the match for team-mate Trezguet to seal a historic win. Egypt had failed to win a match during their two previous World Cup campaigns - in 1990 and 2018 - and were held to a 1-1 draw by Belgium in their opening game of the current tournament.
