At Houston's historic Saengerbund, a German singing society founded in 1883, football fans gathered for a unique World Cup watch party filled with beer, pretzels, schnitzel and plenty of German pride. More than 200 supporters packed the club's Keller cellar to watch Germany's dominant win over Curacao. For many attendees, the event was about more than football—it was a celebration of heritage, community and the unifying power of sport.
