FIFA World Cup 2026: Netherlands Beat Sweden 5-1 As Gakpo And Brobbey Score Twice Each

Cody Gakpo and Brian Brobbey both scored twice as the Netherlands crushed Sweden 5-1 in Houston, lifting the Dutch to the top of Group F. Brobbey repaid Ronald Koeman after being handed a start, Gakpo scored two and set up the opener, and Crysencio Summerville added a late fifth. Anthony Elanga’s classy finish offered Sweden a consolation. Tactical control down the wings, Bart Verbruggen’s key saves and high-volume low crosses from Denzel Dumfries decided the game.
