With the men in blue winning both the one-dayers in the series so far, the BCCI chose to retain the same team for the
remaining ODIs.
This means spinner Harbhajan Singh was again overlooked for selection, which is hardly a surprise considering the form of R Ashwin and Ravindrja Jadeja, who helped India win the first ODI.
There are, however, new faces in the team for the lone T20 to be played on October 29 against England at Kolkata.
Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa have been included in the squad in place of Gautam Gambhir and Parthiv Patel. Gambhir is unavailable on account of his marriage.
Uthappa played his last international match for India more than three years ago against Sri Lanka in Karachi. He has played 38 ODIs and nine T20 internationals for India.
It was his knocks of 56 and 132 for India Green in the recently concluded NKP Salve Challenger Series in Nagpur that has helped him make a comeback in the squad. With Gambhir opting out of the tie, Uthappa could even get to open the batting.
