South Africa captain AB De Villiers, who is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), hoped the Indian cricket team would be seen in the Champions Trophy in England beginning June 1. In an exclusive chat with NDTV, he said," The ICC would want India to play the Champions Trophy." he said. "India won it last time in England and they will be ready for a strong campaign around this year as well." RCB are out contention for the IPL title and De Villiers is not making any excuses for the team's dismal performance.
"I don't want to make any excuses. We've just not played well enough," De Villiers said.
