Gavaskar slams butter-fingered India for dropping catches

Former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar has said the Indian catching effort was not up to international standard as the visitors dropped at least four catches on Day 1 of the Auckland Test against New Zealand. Kiwis scored 329/4 at stumps with centuries by Brendon McCullum and in-form Kane Williamson. Gavaskar also backed Zaheer Khan and heaped praise on Ishant Sharma for the performance.
