South Africa have set a target of 274 runs for Bangladesh. The hosts came into bat with a lead of 69 runs, although they did not get enough time at the crease due to early stumps on Day 3. The hosts started positively in the morning session on Day 4 by losing only a single wicket of Sarel Erwee. Their worse nightmare was yet to come, as Bangladesh roared back in the afternoon session. The visitors took 4 wickets in that session and did manage to put a lid over the run rate as well. Later, only Ryan Rickelton was the stand out batter for South Africa, who did manage to bat till the end but could not apply the same pressure with the tail-enders. South Africa lost their last three wickets in 8 deliveries and that would hurt them a lot. Bangladesh bowlers turned on the heat with the ball since the afternoon session. It was a combination of pace and spin attack that did the trick for them. Mehidy Hasan was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. Ebadot Hossain also enjoyed his time out with the ball, as he grabbed three wicket as well. The onus is now on the Bangladeshi batters. They have about an hour and a whole day's play in hand to chase the target. Will they be able to convert it into a win? Do join us in a short while for the chase.
