He was looking so good but now has to depart. He was looking fidgety since he got to his fifty but now has perished. Mulder bowls a good length ball outside off, Perera looks to drive but it takes the outside edge and it goes towards Markram at gully who makes no mistake.  71/2

22.5 OUT! CAUGHT AT SLIP! When is Lunch? When is Lunch? This is what Sri Lanka would be asking. It has been a torrid last few minutes for them. 3 wickets for 9 runs in 17 balls! The slip cordon is back in action. A length ball, around middle, Thirimanne looks to work it to the leg side, but the ball moves away, squares him up, takes the outside edge and goes low. But Faf du Plessis adjusts well at second slip adjusts well to get low and forward and take it.  80/4

20.5 OUT! EDGED TO SLIP! Mendis walked in and now Mendis has walked out. A so, so, so Kusal Mendis out. Pitch the ball around off, on a fuller length, get him to drive or defend and eke out the outside edge. In this case, it was the latter. Asitha was telegraphing his basic intentions, wanting to stay away from the ball, so that the body does not get hit and Nortje does the perfect two-card trick. 52.3 OUT! The onfield decision is overturned and Rassie van der Dussen trudges back. Shanaka comes up with a harmless delivery but hits the jackpot. A shortish ball sliding down the leg side, there to be smashed. Rassie tries to pull but fails to middle it. It goes past his gloves and Dickwella appeals after completing the catch. The umpire remains unmoved but Karunaratne agrees with his teammates and takes the DRS. The Ultra Edge shows some spike and that's the end for the local man. He dishes out a beautiful delivery, an inswinger on a length outside off, Bavuma decides to offer no shot and takes it on his pads. Not sure whether he expected the ball to nip back in so much. As soon as he is struck on the pads, the bowler appeals and the umpire lifts his finger. Temba takes the DRS but it is of no use. No shot offered, so the impact cannot be an issue and the ball is hitting the middle stump. All over for the little man.  276/8

Mulder takes the review, but the replay shows that the point of impact is with the umpire's call and also it's once again the umpire's call on hitting the stumps. The original decision stays.  257/6

65 OUT! This was always on the cards! Asitha keeps on probing with a length delivery around off, Keshav once again has a loose push inside the line and the away movement takes the outside edge to the keeper. Dickwella makes no mistake and South Africa lose their second wicket after Lunch.  262/7

Nortje is in two minds whether to defend or leave and ends up edging it towards second slip where Kusal Mendis takes a good catch over his head. A back of a length ball into the body, Karunaratne tries to play the Nataraja pull shot but is hurried by the extra pace and gets a top edge that balloons towards square leg. Mulder takes one of the easiest catches there but after taking it blinks his eyes as if to tell, he nearly lost it in the sky. A fine innings by Karunaratne is over. South Africa are elated as they get the prized wicket of the Sri Lankan skipper. The lead is 31.  176/5

2.2 OUT! BOWLED! Ngidi strikes early and Perera can't repeat his 1st innings heroics. A length ball around off, nips back in sharply and goes between the bat and pad of Perera to hit the top of middle and leg. South Africa strike early and it's a massive blow for Sri Lanka. A nothing ball sliding down the leg, Mendis looks to tuck it behind but finds a flying de Kock behind, who stretches to his left and takes the catch with a reverse cup. Brilliant catch by the South African captain. Kusal Mendis is gone for a golden duck. Sri Lanka lose their 3rd. Mendis was out for a duck in the first innings as well. 27.3 OUT! CAUGHT! What a wonderful catch from Keshav Maharaj! He might not be bowling but has contributed well in the field now. Brilliant catch from the spinner! Short ball around off, Bhanuka looks to pull but it takes the top edge and goes towards mid-wicket. Keshav Maharaj runs backwards, keeps his eyes on the ball and then dives full length to take a brilliant catch. Sri Lanka trail by 36 runs.  109/4

44.3 OUT! One brings two and all of a sudden, Sri Lanka have lost both their overnight batsmen. Ngidi hurls across a fuller length ball around off, there is a slight away deviation as it hits the deck and Dickwella decides to heave it over the leg side. The ball nips away to take the leading half of his bat and flies in the air at covers. Bavuma sprints across to his right and takes the skier easily. Four wickets for Lungi and he has been South Africa's best bowler in the second innings. Sri Lanka are effectively 36/6!  181/6

50.5 OUT! Mulder fools the batsman with a slower one. He dishes out a fuller length ball on middle at 123 kph, Shanaka is early into his shot as he attempts to whip it across the line. Ends up ballooning a simple catch to Sipamla at mid on. Another soft dismissal this morning for the visiting team. Sri Lanka are effectively 45/7!  190/7

54.5 OUT! Sound of timber! A peach of a delivery followed by a slightly fuller length ball around off, shaping in. Hasaranga possibly got rattled by the last delivery, tries to chance his arm and look for a big shot. Misses the ball completely and has his stumps destroyed. Sipamla is absolutely pumped, he had to wait for his chance and has managed to leave his impact straightaway. Sri Lanka lose their fourth wicket this morning and are effectively 64/8!  209/8
