Anaya Bangar, the daughter of former India cricketer Sanjay Bangar, recently announced that she will be eligible to participate in elite women's cricket in Australia starting March 2027.

After being given the pathway to return to professional cricket, Anaya Bangar said that she used to live in the dressing rooms in the United Kingdom just for survival.

Anaya Bangar emphasised compliance with Cricket Australia's policies and highlighted the physical challenges she faces post-transition, advocating for case-by-case evaluation of transgender athletes.
