Rajat Patidar delivered a captain's knock on Tuesday night, propelling Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a dominant 92-run victory over Gujarat Titans in Dharamsala.

Aryaman Birla will become the chairman after a consortium led by Aditya Birla Group completed the purchase of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru for Rs 1.78 billion (more than Rs 16,000 crore).

Aryaman Birla, son of industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, said that he has been coping with "severe anxiety related to cricket" for a while.

Aryaman Birla, the scion of the Aditya Birla empire, had made himself available at the IPL auction and was snapped up by the Rajasthan Royals.
