Faiz Fazal is a left-hand opening batsman from Nagpur, Maharashtra and has played extensive domestic cricket for teams such as Central, India Red, India Under-19, Railways and Vidarbha.
He made his first-class debut in 2003-04. In 2007, his unbeaten 127 helped Vidarbha beat Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji One-day trophy. Later, in 2008, his crucial half century guided the Central Zone to clinch the Deodhar trophy. He also helped Vidarbha reach the semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2007-08. He represents the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
