run out (Muhammad Musa)
15.3 OUT! After four failed attempts from Pakistan, they find the timber. Shaw has to depart. The openers kept giving the fielders multiple chances to run them out and finally they have taken one. Back of a length ball, Kalra jumps to bunt it down near the surface. They go for the quick run and Musa runs quickly to the ball. He picks it up and stretches to break the stumps as Shaw dives in. The umpire goes upstairs and the replays show us that Shaw was inside the crease but his bat was in the air. It never touched down even once to be given not out. He has to take the long walk back. 89/1

c Rohail Nazir b Arshad Iqbal
33.1 OUT! Soft dismissal! Another one bites the dust for India. What a time for Pakistan, they have now removed the top 5 opposition batsmen. A length delivery drifting down the leg side, Abhishek tries to flick but gets a fine tickle behind to the keeper. Nazir catches the ball and throws up in celebration. The finger has also gone up. India in a spot of bother now. Anukul Roy strides in next to join Gill. 166/5

c Prithvi Shaw b Ishan Porel
5.3 OUT! Captain fantastic leading from the front! Good field placement and India get their second wicket. Outside off, Shah pokes at it from the back foot and the ball flies off the outside edge to the gully region. Shaw dives to his left to take a lovely catch. Boy, they are pumped up. Great stuff from India. It's a team game. Mavi is applying unreal pressure from one end and Porel has got a couple of wickets as a result. Top stuff. 13/2

Muhammad Zaid | 7 | 10 | 1 | 0 | 70 |
c Shivam Mavi b Ishan Porel
3.5 OUT! What a catch from Mavi. After bowling two maidens, he has pulled off a stunner in the deep. Full ball on the legs of Zaid who flicks it away to widish fine leg. The ball looks like going over the fence but Mavi makes his presence felt. Jumps to catch it at the first attempt but then realizes that he would be stepping over the rope. Throws the ball high and then catches it again by coming back. Great presence of mind from the young boy! 10/1

Rohail Nazir Wk | 18 | 39 | 0 | 0 | 46.15 |
c Shubman Gill b Riyan Parag
18.4 OUT! Parag strikes, good move by Shaw to introduce him. A tossed up ball landing full outside off, Nazir makes space and runs down the track for a big shot. But it comes off the toe end of the bat and balloons in the air towards long off. Shubman Gill takes a safe catch in the deep. As soon as Nazir hit the shot he took his bottom hand off the handle, indicating it slipped. Hmm...that was more of a batsman not able to transfer his weight properly into the shot. Nothing can be done now. Pakistan reeling. 41/6

c Prithvi Shaw b Ishan Porel
7.2 OUT! Shaw in business again! Porel bowls this around off and Asif pokes at it. The ball flies once more to that gully region, only this time Shaw moves to his right to take a sharp low catch. Porel on fire, this is his third wicket. Pakistan 20/3 now. Catching is emerging out to be the real difference between the two sides. The Boys in Green dropped a few sitters while the Indians have caught some tougher ones. 20/3

Ammad Alam | 4 | 15 | 1 | 0 | 26.66 |
c Shivam Mavi b Ishan Porel
11.1 OUT! Pakistan lose their fourth wicket. Length ball in line of the stumps, Alam goes for the lofted shot but it hits him high on the bat. He gets a top edge to it and the ball flies to point. Shivam gets under it to take his second catch of the match. Pakistan are in deep trouble now. 28/4
|
|||||
Mohammad Taha | 4 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 17.39 |
c Kamlesh Nagarkoti b Shiva Singh
17.4 OUT! Pakistan have lost half their side now and the score has not reached even 50. Singh dishes out a nice floated delivery outside off, fuller in length, Taha this time tries to loft it over covers but ends up slicing it straight into the hands of Nagarkoti at backward point. He makes no mistake and India can smell the finale ticket now. 37/5
|
|||||
Saad Khan | 15 | 33 | 1 | 0 | 45.45 |
st Harvik Desai b Anukul Roy
28.5 OUT! Quick stumping by Harvik Desai! Roy also has a wicket to his name. He flights this one outside off and lands it full. Khan stretches well forward to play at it but misses. He loses his balance a bit too and the keeper is quick to remove the bails. They appeal, it's referred upstairs and the replays show that Khan's back leg was in the air when the stumps were broken. Dhoni will be surely proud of the speed with which that stumping was done. India are one wicket away now. 68/9

|||||
Hasan Khan C | 1 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 20 |
c Shubman Gill b Riyan Parag
20.2 OUT! The Pakistan skipper leaves the sinking boat. Another cracking catch in the field by India. Boy, they are pumped up for the occasion. Parag bowls it full and outside off, Khan advances forward and miscues his shot in the air towards mid off. Shubman Gill, the centurion, backtracks and takes a ripper. Not easy to take those running back. Everything falling in its place for India. 45/7

|||||
Shaheen Afridi | 11 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
c & b Shiva Singh
24 OUT! Shiva with his clever variation bags his second wicket. It looks like some kind of carrom ball, landing on middle and there is extra bounce too. Afridi goes back to power it over the leg side but gets a top edge. It flies straight up and Shiva forward to claim the catch easily. End is nigh for Pakistan. 48/8
