That will be it from this match. The final T20I is on 6th August in Guyana. Do join us at 1030 local (1430 GMT) for all the action. Until then, it's goodbye and cheers!
Victorious Indian skipper, Virat Kohli says that they had a really clinical game today. Feels the wicket was always going to be best at the start and reckons it was a good finish by Krunal and Jadeja. Adds that it slowed down towards the end but glad that they got to 160-plus. He is happy with the way they bowled. Further says that winning the first two games gives them the chance to try out new players. Mentions that winning is always a priority and they want to play expressive cricket. States that closing the series with one game to go gives them a cushion but they are not going to take the last game lightly. Kohli is all praise for Washington Sundar. Lauds him for showing composure in the Powerplay and tells that he is handy with the bat as well. Further says that he is executing his plans really well and is looking quite lean and fit. Tells that he is expecting big crowd in Guyana where he hasn't played before and he is looking forward to the experience.
KRUNAL PANDYA IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH! Says that it has been good two games for them and it's a different experience playing here in USA. Adds that he has been doing that for his team in the Indian T20 League or wherever he plays. Feels it's important to be in good frame of mind and is happy with the way he bowled. Adds that both the trades go together, . Tells that he was trying to bowl outside the off stump as the wicket was double-paced with some balls sticking and some skidding.
After a long wait, we are ready for the presentation. Carlos Brathwaite comes up first! Starts by saying that they didn't get the start they wanted with the ball but pulled things back really well. Feels that they had a solid platform and would have given a real shot at the end although it was a difficult task. Praises Rovman Powell for his knock and tells that there was a little bit of improvement from yesterday. Adds that the plan was to send Pollard later to finish the game. Wants the batting order to be flexible and batting wise it's really close to where they want it to be. States that consistency from his side is what he is looking for.
The Men in Blue were brilliant with the ball in the Powerplay. Washington Sundar was excellent in his spell of three overs along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Khaleel Ahmed and Navdeep Saini proved to be expensive today but it's not as if they bowled too badly. With the series already in the bag, we might see India trying out the other players in their squad in the final T20I.
In reply, the hosts once again faltered with the bat at the start. The move to send Sunil Narine flopped as rather than giving a quickfire start, he consumed too many balls. After losing two wickets cheaply, Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell put together a 76-run stand to do the recovery job. Pooran, though, was very slow in his knock and as a result, the asking rate kept on mounting. The 14th over bowled by Krunal where he nipped out both the set batsmen threw the home team in a precarious situation and then the rain came to deny the likes of Kieron Pollard and Shimron Hetmyer a shot at the target.
Right then, INDIA WIN BY 22 RUNS (DLS method) to take an unassailable lead in the 3-match series. It was a much better batting performance by India although the middle order still needs to find a way to score runs. Powered by the contributions from the top three and a late cameo by Krunal Pandya, India posted a daunting target in front of West Indies on a sluggish surface.
Update 1423 local - Play has been officially CALLED OFF! The conditions only got worse and it started to rain heavily leaving the umpires with no option but to end it.
Update 1400 local - It has started to rain now! It looks doubtful that we will have any more play in this match. Let's wait and hope for the best.
Update 1337 local - What's happening there? The covers are coming on and the players are leaving the field. It's not raining yet. We are hearing that it's a precautionary measure as there is a warning for lightning. It's quite windy at the moment. The DLS par score at this stage is 120 and West Indies are well behind. Let's hope that the players will be back on the ground soon.

Ravindra Jadeja To Shimron Hetmyer
DROPPED BY KOHLI! A long hop on middle, Hetmyer pulls it in the air at mid-wicket and Kohli dives to his left inside the ring. He gets it in his grasp but fails to hang on. A single is taken. Will this cost India?

Ravindra Jadeja To Kieron Pollard
Aerial but safe! This one stops a bit onto the batsman after landing around off, Pollard is early into the shot and ends up pushing it back uppishly. Jadeja dives across to his left but it goes under his left hand and the batsmen take a run.

Ravindra Jadeja To Kieron Pollard
Quicker one, short and on off, Pollard punches it back to the off side and Jadeja runs to make the stop.
Ravindra Jadeja, finally, is unleashed into the attack. Also, it has gone very dark out there. Angry clouds staring down at the stadium.

FOUR! Slapped away! Short in length and wide outside off, enough room there for Hetmyer to whack it through backward point for a boundary. Outstanding over by Krunal, 6 runs and 2 wickets from it.

Krunal Pandya To Rovman Powell OUT!
OUT! That's hitting the stumps and Krunal Pandya has turned this chase completely in India's favour. Both the set batsmen are back in the hut leaving West Indies in a precarious situation. Pandya dishes out an arm ball on middle and it skids on to ping Powell on the front pad as he fails to play it out. They appeal and the finger has gone up. Rovman takes the referral but it's of no use. The Hawk Eye shows that it has hit him in line and is going on to destroy the stumps.
Shout for an lbw! Given. That looks plumb but Rovman Powell wants to review it.

Krunal Pandya To Nicholas Pooran OUT!
OUT! Excellent catch by Manish Pandey, lovely piece of athleticism by him. Pandya delivers it flat and a touch short around off, Pooran fetches it from there and tries to pump it over long on. But he gets more height than distance on his shot. Pandey settles himself near the rope to catch the ball and then tosses it up as he crosses the fence. He then returns to catch it again. An uncharacteristic knock by Nicholas is over, bringing an end to a 76-run stand. 84 needed more off 40 balls.
