That is it from this game then. Congratulations to Bangladesh but hard luck for Ireland, who have been knocked out even before they play their final league game. With that being a certified dead rubber, hopefully we get a good contest. Join us on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10.45 am local (0945 GMT). ADIOS! TAKE CARE!
Victorious Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza, says that it was a good performance, though he admits that they did not start well. Credits the way the bowlers bounced back. Wants to play hard cricket against Ireland and win. Agrees that their first aim was to go to the final with a win today itself. Now, wants to play good cricket on Wednesday and then see what happens in the final.
West Indies skipper, Jason Holder, says that they were not 100 percent in the field and wants to make sure they do better in the final. Adds that they want to improve every single time they step on the field. Considers his partnership with Shai Hope vital but admits they failed to carry on. Mentions that they need to keep improving and do better in all the three departments.
MUSTAFIZUR RAHMAN HAS BEEN NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH. He is called up for an interview but he does not turn up for the chat!
The bowling and fielding from West Indies were very mediocre. A few chances went down and had they been a bit clinical, this chase would have become quite interesting. Plenty to ponder for them, not only in the field but also with the bat as their middle, lower order batting hasn't lived up to the expectation. Stay tuned for the presentation...
Chasing a modest target, their openers set the tone with a 54-run partnership and the middle order capitalized after that. West Indies tried their best through Ashley Nurse's spell in the 21st over where he picked Shakib and Sarkar in quick succession but the 83-run partnership between Rahim and Mithun put the chase to bed. Holder managed to break this stand but the Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman carried on to stitch yet another fifty partnership with Mahmudullah and also completed his 33rd ODI half century.
Easy win for Bangladesh! They have once again thumped West Indies to get into the final and will once again lock horns with the same opposition for the tri-nation trophy. Just like their last meeting, the Asian team proved to be the better batting and bowling side.

WIDE! What an anti-climatic finish! BANGLADESH WIN BY 5 WICKETS and 16 BALLS TO SPARE! A bouncer down the leg side, too high as well. The umpire signals the wide and that means the match is over. Bangladesh have romped home with ease. This has been such a pounding and the Asian team book their spot in the grand final, knocking out Ireland.

Chase in the deep keeps the ball inside and keeps the match alive! A length ball outside off, Mahmudullah drives this hard and wide to the left of deep cover. Roston there dives and keeps the ball inside. The ball rolls towards the rope but is pulled in in time. A couple of runs taken, 2 more needed.

Kemar Roach To Mushfiqur Rahim OUT!
OUT! Caught at deep fine leg and Rahim has departed trying to finish it in style. A length ball on middle, Mushfiqur looks to slog it over deep square leg but get it off the top half and the ball goes high and not far. It goes straight down the throat of Darren Bravo at deep fine leg. Roach has something to smile about finally. Rahim though bears a glum look on his face as he walks off without finishing the job.

Terrific delivery and there is a huge shout for a caught behind by the bowler. Not given. A ripper by Cottrell. He bangs it in short on middle, Mahmudullah picks it a bit late and then jumps to fend it away. It goes closely past his gloves to the keeper and that prompts the bowler to appeal. Nothing in the replays.

In the air... but away from the mid-wicket! A short ball on middle, Rahim looks to pull this one away but the ball goes off the top edge. The ball flies high but has enough on it to beat mid-wicket who was running back in an attempt to take that. 2 runs taken as everything is going the way of Bangladesh here.
