So that's all from here, folks! Hyderabad have had it really easy in the absence of MS Dhoni. That means things are really heating up in the middle of the table. Next up, we head to the capital to watch Delhi host Mumbai in a top-of-the-table clash. That one promises to be a cracker! You do not want to miss it, join us for the coverage of the same which will begin at 2000 local (1430 GMT) on Thursday. See you for that one, take care, cheers and goodbye!
MAN OF THE MATCH, David Warner says he is grateful for the supporters as they are one of the best and tells he appreciates the support. Tells sometimes while chasing there is a bit of hesitation and it is a bit difficult sometimes but reckons tonight's pitch was a little two-paced and hence he decided to attack from the word go. On the gesture from his daughter before the game Warner smiles and says he is blessed to have two beautiful daughters and wife and he feels lucky. On his selection in the Australian squad, Warner says he is happy to be selected and also tells that the fans in India are amazing and he enjoys playing here.
Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson says it is a very good all-round performance. Mentions they did well to come back in the second half of the first innings and they chased this down well. Reckons the wicket did not change a lot and they did well to adapt to the surface. Further adds he hopes to build on this victory. Credits the way Rashid has bowled for them and says he is a key bowler for them. Appreciates the knock by Warner and also the way Bairstow played. Ends by saying they weren't quite themselves in the last couple of games but is happy with the win here.
Jonny Bairstow says he is pleased to have been there till the end and that he was happy to finish the game. Mentions it is handy having a left-hand, right-hand combination at the top and he enjoys batting with Warner. Credits the bowlers for pulling back things in the second half in the first innings. Further mentions the bowlers are doing well, it is the batting which has to step up. States they were a bit more ruthless and were hungry for the victory today. Credits the way Rashid has bowled and says it is difficult to pick him.
Chennai skipper, Suresh Raina says this loss is a good wake up call. Admits they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and could not capitalize on the start they got. Mentions they should have rotated the strike better in the first half and built more partnerships. Further adds Dhoni might play the next game for them and creidts the way Tahir has been bowling. Ends by saying they have to continue to play as a unit and everybody has to do their job.
Earlier on in the evening, Chennai got off to a really good start courtesy Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson. They made 80 runs in the first 10 overs but failed to even double it in the next 10 as they ended up with just 52 runs and 132 on the board. Rashid Khan and co. were brilliant in pulling things back and that meant that the hosts got their much-needed victory!
Going after the target of 133 set by Chennai, the hosts started off in ruthless fashion scoring more than 65 runs by the time the Powerplay ended with their in-form opener David Warner getting to his fifty in 23 balls. He fell the very next ball but he had already put his side in commanding position. The skipper, Williamson failed with the bat but Warner's opening partner, Bairstow had another good outing and got to his first fifty of the League, while ensuring that the game was completed with ease. About the Chennai bowling, well not much can be said as the total to be defended was too low. Tahir was brilliant once more and the spinners did do their best but the opening blast that they faced meant this night was going to belong to Hyderabad.
A simple chase in the end. The total looked well under par and it did end up being that way as Hyderabad have coasted to an easy victory and brought their 3-match losing run to an end. Warner set the platform with a blazing fifty, his opening partner batted through till the end and ensured that there were no hiccups as the game was finished with more than 3 overs left. Chennai meanwhile have been stunned and lost their second game of the season, and terribly missed their original skipper, MS Dhoni who was rested in this game due to a back strain.

Karn Sharma To Jonny Bairstow
SIX! Bairstow does finish it off in style! This is fuller and on middle, he easily lofts it over the long on fence for a biggie. Customary handshakes taking place as HYDERABAD WIN BY 6 WICKETS!
Yusuf Pathan is the next man in.

Karn Sharma To Deepak Hooda OUT!
OUT! Hooda holes out! He tries to finish it off in style. He uses his feet and looks to go downtown. The ball turns a little, he ends up slicing it towards long off where Faf takes an easy catch.

FOUR! 2 more needed now. Steps down the track and goes inside out over covers for a boundary.

Slows it up on off, Hooda strokes it towards covers. A misfield and two runs taken.

Karn Sharma To Jonny Bairstow
Plays the slog sweep but not off the middle, it goes towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
Strategic break! Hyderabad have ensured that the quick wickets of Warner and Williamson has not affected the chase and they have built on the super platform that was laid for them. Shankar did fall but Bairstow's calm and composed knock has ensured victory is within touching distance. Meanwhile, Chennai will need a miracle to win this one and for once, an Indian T20 League game seems to be finishing early and not being a cliffhanger. Some relief for all the high blood pressure people!

Shardul Thakur To Jonny Bairstow
DROPPED! A tough chance though, especially for Watson. This is short and on middle, Bairstow goes for the pull but the ball sticks in the surface a little. It goes off the bottom to the right of mid-wicket. Watson there takes a few steps towards the ball, dives, gets a hand to it but can't hang on. The batsmen take a run.

Karn Sharma To Jonny Bairstow
Too easy for Bairstow. He gets another one on his pads, he clips it in the gap in the square leg region and takes two. It also brings his 50 up, a hard-fought innings by him but he would be happier if he stays till the end. 17 more needed.
