Netherlands were a no-match today, completely in contrast to their performance against Ireland which raised the eyebrows of a million people worldwide. Struggles against the likes of Mendis and Malinga were expected but they were throwing away the wickets to a little more than a dibbly dobbler, Angelo Mathews. Only Tom Cooper managed a double number score. In the end, it was a real embarrassment but they would be hoping to put on a good show in the next game. Remember, they had beaten England in the 2009 World T20 and they would be much easier off facing their European counter-parts than the Asian sides.
Nothing much to speak about in this innings. Just 40 runs were required to win and the Sri Lankan batsmen had no qualms in wrapping it up quickly apart from losing Kusal Perera in the process.
