Right then! Super Friday is done and dusted. Australia knocked out Pakistan while West Indies managed to get the better of the Proteas. Tomorrow is another double-header. First, New Zealand take on Bangladesh in what would be a dead rubber in terms of qualification for the semis but a big loss might hurt the Kiwis' chances of ending the group on top. That game is at Kolkata at 1500 IST (0930 GMT) followed by the England-Sri Lanka clash at 1930 IST (1400 GMT) at Delhi. An England victory will send South Africa out of the tournament along with Sri Lanka while on the other hand, if the Islanders win, the Proteas will continue to breathe. Do join us for both the games. Adios! Take Care!
South African captain Faf du Plessis feels that the whole game they were always behind the Windies. Adds that it was a 135-deck and the bowlers were let down. Praises his bowling unit for fighting hard. Admits that in big games, the senior players need to step up and himself, Amla and de Villiers form a major trio. Losing all three inside the Powerplay was a big blow, he says and feels that those cost them in the end. Admits that his team was not at its best tonight and when it does not happen, it does not deserve to win World Cups or make it to the semi-finals. Agrees that they have to wait for other results and hopes that they go their way. Credits the Windies for their win and says that they thoroughly deserved this victory.
Victorious West Indian skipper DARREN SAMMY says that he was smiling during the run chase but there were butterflies in his stomach. Is happy that they have crossed the first stage of their aim - making it to the semi-finals. On not bowling out Badree straightaway and giving Gayle bowling, he says that the team management always backs Gayle and he is thrilled that the players are responding. Stresses that the Windies are going to celebrate tonight for qualifying to the semis but at the same time, wishes South Africa all the luck in this tournament.
West Indies would not be too happy with the way they won tonight but would be thrilled with the result of making it through to the semis. They now face Afghanistan in their last league match at this very same venue on Sunday, 27th March, 2016. They will aim to go 4 on 4 and make a statement.
Man of the Match, MARLON SAMUELS says sometimes you have to bat according to the situation. Adds that they just needed a big over to stay in front. Says they don't need to bat differently if Gayle departs early but it is always good if the openers provide them with a good start. Adds that he wants to credit the Protea bowlers as they bowled really well. Thinks that their bowlers too bowled well and hopefully they will continue in the same way ahead in the tournament.
The match went close but South Africa did not bowl well consistently. Rabada and Morris were ineffective but Tahir, Phangiso and Wiese bowled their hearts out. The Proteas now have their fate dangling by a thread - if England beat Sri Lanka tomorrow, South Africa are out. Else, the Proteas need to beat the Lankans on Monday, 28th March, 2016 at Delhi by a margin which would need to be enough to take them through to the semis.
With 20 needed from 12 balls, Samuels unleashed himself on Morris and got two boundaries. But then, Morris got his revenge and now we had an interesting scenario with 9 needed from the final over with 3 wickets in hand. However, with a biggie off the second ball of the over, it more or less sealed the match.
Charles hung around for a while before the Proteas started to pick up wickets. At a stage, when 24 was needed under 4 overs, it all seemed too easy. But a flurry of wickets followed by a few dot balls put the pressure right back on the Caribbeans.
A nervy win in the end but West Indies have made it to the semi-finals. Only the second team after New Zealand. It seemed like 123 would be a walk in the park but it wasn't so after the early loss of Gayle.

Chris Morris To Marlon Samuels OUT!
OUT! Samuels holes out! A slower delivery around middle and off, extra bounce as well. Samuels looks to play it straight down the ground as he makes room but miscues it high in the air. de Villiers at long on moves to his left and takes the simplest of catches. West Indies need 10 runs off 7 deliveries.
