That's it from this game. We have a high voltage clash coming up on 1st October 2020 as Punjab take on Mumbai in Abu Dhabi. That game begins at 1930 IST (1400 GMT). Till then take care and cheers!
Shivam Mavi is named Player of the Match! Tells that there was some movement and then he stuck to his plan. Adds that from outside, it looked to be a flat track, but once he went out in the middle, he felt that there was movement on offer so, he kept his plan simple. Ends by saying that he has played against a few star players and kind of knows what shots they like to play so, he tried to stick to his plans.
Victorious Kolkata skipper, Dinesh Karthik, starts by saying that it was a good game but he won't call it the perfect game as there are several areas where they can improve. Praises the way Gill started and Morgan made sure he was there till the end. Says that Mavi was brilliant as well. Tells that the way the players threw themselves for the catches was really well. On Mavi and Nagarkoti, Karthik tells that he gets emotional while talking about them as they had a tough journey reaching here. Says that when they were not playing, it was really difficult for them but they came out and did really well. Ends by saying that he always wanted to bat first and put a total on the board.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti says that when he came to bowl, his side was not under pressure at all and that helped him keep things simple. Thanks his family, friends for  being supportive in his journey. Especially mentions Rahul Dravid and Abhishek Nayar for their support. Says that it is a nice experience to play alongside Cummins. Adds that he is learning a lot from the Aussie bowler.
Rajasthan captain, Steven Smith, says that it didn't quite go the way they planned but feels it can happen in T20s and they will have to take it on the chin. Says that the boundaries on the far side is a big one and we didn't get to see too many boundaries. Reckons that they didn't read the wicket and dimension of the ground. Sights poor catching another reason for the disappointing performance. Tells that he spoke to Cummins after the end and adds that there wasn't much of a battle between the two.
Post match presentation time!
Earlier in the day, after being put in to bat, Kolkata started brilliantly with Shivam Mavi and Nitish Rana though they lost Narine early but their out of form middle order caused a bit of a concern as Russell, skipper, Karthik both failed. Gill and Rana were guilty of throwing away their starts and in the end, the packing punch from Eoin Morgan saw them score 174 which in the end proved too much. Rajasthan were good with their bowling as Archer, Rajpoot, Unadkat and Curran all were in the wickets. In the end, the pacers from both the sides were successful but the difference was the batting.
What to speak about the bowling from Kolkata? It was just fabulous as their bowlers did the job for the side. It all started with Pat Cummins' bowling with some really good pace as he took the wicket of Steven Smith. Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Varun Chakravarthy ended with 2 wickets apiece. Not just their bowling but their fielding too was spot on as they took a couple of skiers too. Kolkata bowlers adapted well with the surface as they bowled full and fast first up to blow up the top order. To sum it up it was a good show in all the three departments which took them over the line with ease.
The norm of the team that bat first wins the game continues in Dubai. Rajasthan chasing a total of 175 for a win got off to a disastrous start as they lost their skipper early and their man in form Sanju Samson soon followed his skipper back to the pavillion. Further to go by Robin Uthappa's poor run continued as he failed to get a kickstart. Buttler, Parag and hero of the last match, Rahul Tewatia, too could not contribute anything of significance. Tom Curran though came out as the lone warrior as he remained unbeaten on 54 as 8 off the 9 batsmen got dismissed in single digits. In the end, Rajasthan ended on the losing side.

Kuldeep Yadav To Jaydev Unadkat OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! It wasn't conclusive enough and hence Unadkat has to walk back. Kuldeep too enters the wickets column. Nagarkoti is the man who takes the catch. He is having a great night there. Short on middle, Unadkat goes for the pull but fails to get the distance on it as the ball goes towards deep mid-wicket where Nagarkoti takes a good catch by running behind.
What hapened there? Has the ball hit the cable of the spider cam there? Unadkat is caught in the deep but he believes it that the ball hit the cable or the cam there. IF this is the case then it will be a dead ball and Unadkat will survive. No it is not the case as the third umpire rules it as out as there is no conclusive evidence.
