That is all from this wonderful season. MI Emirates are the new champions. The party has started and it will go on forever. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. We will meet again next year. For now, it is goodbye and take care.
Sam Billings says to be pretty much of the tournament and then play the final was massive. Adds It is a team effort, the owners are brilliant. Reckons they always regret when they lose but Nicholas Pooran played a brilliant innings and it was difficult to stop him. MI Emirates scored 20-25 runs extra. Adds UAE players have been impressive, happy to see them improve. Ends by saying he loves to play in this part of the world.
Nicholas Pooran says it is great to be the Man of the Match in the final. Adds they wanted to play with the right attitude. Says they worked hard to get here and is pleased to win it. Mentions everyone in the team has the same agenda and motive. Credits Waseem for how he has played. Also praises Waqar Salamkheil. The franchise has been brilliant. It was important to have players like Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard. Adds UAE players were brilliant as well.
Sikandar Raza wins the most valuable player of the season award. He says it is a proud moment for him, the last two years have been incredible but he has worked hard a lot. Reckons they were done and out but to play the finals is brilliant. Shares Dubai Capitals have a wonderful culture. It is disappointing to lose but they could keep their heads high. Tells he is happy to play a big part in the team, he is ready to step up for the team.

James Vince wins the best batter of the season award.
Waqar Salamkheil wins the best bowler of the season award.
Nicholas Pooran wins the Player of the Match award. He says it is special to win this award in the finals. Adds the players showed energy and attitude right from the start. Reckons he works hard on his craft. Plays according to the situation and understands the conditions well.
...Presentation time...
Akeal Hosein says the senior players stepped up. Adds Andre Fletcher exploded at the right time and even Nicholas Pooran took it on his shoulder to give them a big total.
Trent Boult says the boys delivered at the big stage. Adds he enjoyed himself, the wickets were challenging but he’s happy with his performance. Mentions they had a great total and the batters gave them a lot of runs to play with.
Kieron Pollard says he is delighted. Adds he is pleased they won as they entered as favourites. Mentions the guys batter them out of the game. On the drop catches, says he is happy it did not cost them. Ends by saying he continues to grow as a cricketer.
Dwayne Bravo says they needed this win. Adds Nicholas Pooran led wonderfully with his leadership. Reckons their focus was always on being champions and it feels good to be champions.
Robin Singh, the head coach of MI Emirates says it is nice to win after losing out the last year. Adds experienced players made a huge difference and they were well prepared. Reckons they got off to a good start, they were not targeting 200 but were happy with the score. Tells Pooran is best player in the world right now. Shares experienced players help a lot to lead from the front.
Dubai Capitals were just under par throughout. They bowled badly at first and then the batting needed someone to play a special knock but it just did not come. They were outplayed by a way better side. MI Emirates though dropped numerous catches but went away as Dubai Capitals didn't make the most of the opportunity given. Finals pressure was just too big on them. Few of MI Emirates players are up for some words....
A very one sided final and it is MI Emirates who will be crowned the champions. To be honest the batters sealed the deal with a massive score. Then their bowlers were excellent. Trent Boult, Akeal Hosein and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth were exceptional. They just never let the Dubai Capitals batters get in a flow and in the end it’s a thumping win.
