So that's it from us for this game. Youngsters are unleashing themselves on the big stage and new heroes are emerging on a consistent basis. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Join us for India's quarter-final clash against Bangladesh as and when it takes place. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
India skipper, Prithvi Shaw, says that the bowlers did a really good job for the team and the openers carried on the good work. Feels that attitude and intensity matters a lot on the field and he is pleased with his boys. Reinstates the fact that they are playing Bangladesh in the quarter-finals. Ends by saying that they have 5-6 days to rest and will aim to keep on playing with authority.
Zimbabwe skipper, Liam Roche, says that that it was a team decision to bat first. Feels that it was a good batting track but they were not up to the mark. Mentions that they enjoyed the conditions though. Praises the Indian openers for their brilliant batting and congratulates them. States that he wants to play for the Zimbabwe academy in England and also has hopes of featuring in the senior team in future.
Man of the Match, Shubman Gill, says that it was a good wicket to bat on. Mentions that they capitalized on it and played most of the shots down the ground. Praises Rahul Dravid for his inspirational coaching. Smiles and ends saying that he enjoys batting with Desai.
Earlier, the Indian bowlers once again bowled the opposition out. Three times in three games to be precise, sums up how penetrative they have been throughout. The Men in Blue are going from strength-to-strength and are certainly firing on all cylinders. If they continue to play this way, it will be difficult to defeat them. The presentation is coming up in a while...
A near flawless performance from India has led them to annihilate the opposition without even breaking a sweat. The Men in Blue experimented with a new opening combination and the duo of Desai and Gill responded in style. They showed their range all around the park and kept on finding boundaries at will. Gill was especially eye-catching and gave a glimpse of the huge talent he has got. The Men in Red didn't find any answers and surrendered rather meekly.

FOUR! Gill finishes off in a commanding fashion! Just the way the Men in Blue would liked to have sign off. Length ball around off, Gill uses his feet and smacks it over the bowler for a boundary. Customary handshakes all around. INDIA WIN BY 10 WICKETS and they take the top position in Group B.
