So that's it from here. India won comfortably and will be looking forward to their next game against Sarfraz Ahmed's Pakistan on Sunday in Dubai at 1530 local (1130 GMT). There's another game on that day in Abu Dhabi, at the same time, between Afghanistan and Bangladesh and it will be a good one. But, in the meantime, you can switch tabs and catch all the riveting action form the ongoing Pakistan-Afghanistan match. Cheers!
MAN OF THE MATCH, Ravindra Jadeja, says he's very happy to play for the ODI side after a long time. Stresses that he wants to give his best every time he plays and do well for the team. Adds that Kuldeep and Chahal keep the pressure on the batsmen and it allows others to take advantage. Lets everyone know that whenever he used to watch the others in limited-overs cricket, he told himself that he would do whatever it took to get in the side. On whether he's disappointed he didn't get to bat, he says he isn't and will take his chance against Pakistan in the next game.
India skipper, Rohit Sharma, says it was a clinical performance from his side. Mentions that he knew it would be slightly better batting under the lights, which is the reason why he decided to chase. States that it's important to keep rotating the bowlers with shorter spells and not let the batsmen get used to them. Adds that if you keep it tight, the wickets will come. Praises Chahal and Kuldeep despite them not getting wickets, but gives special mention to Jadeja for bowling the way he did, especially after coming into the ODI side after a long time. Emphasizes that he wanted either of him or Dhawan to hang around for a while and even finish the game if possible. Ends by saying that he's looking forward to the next challenge.
Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza, says that it was not a bad wicket to bat on and they could have made 250-260. Adds that they lost their way in the middle overs and couldn't finish off strongly. Mentions that defending 173 is very difficult and he can't be harsh on his bowlers. States that Afghanistan are a tough team to face and they have to be at the top of their game on Sunday. Ends by saying that if they score 250-260, it will give them a good chance.
In response, Rohit and Dhawan got the Men in Blue off to a positive start again. It more or less sealed the deal. Dhawan departed, and Rayudu joined him soon after, but Dhoni hung around and made a 50-run stand with the skipper (who made a solid fifty for himself). MS departed with only a few runs remaining, which Karthik finished after coming in. An emphatic win for the Indians, they'll be quite pleased with their performance tonight. The presentation will be coming up shortly.
The Indian pacers started it off picking early wickets and then, it was Jadeja who stole the show. He bagged 4 on his comeback into the ODI side and ran through the Bangladesh middle order. Kumar and Bumrah got 3 apiece for themselves too. Mehidy Hasan provided a late flurry towards the end and got Bangladesh to 173.
A clinical performance from the Indians. It was kind of expected too, given Bangladesh were relatively fatigued and some key players injured/half-fit. Though, not to take anything away from the Indians, they did a splendid job in all departments. Electing to field after winning the toss, they put the Tigers under immense pressure from the word go.

Shakib Al Hasan To Dinesh Karthik
INDIA WIN BY 7 WICKETS! A victory as comfortable as any. Done in similar fashion too. Karthik adjusts his body and flicks the tossed up delivery through square leg for a single. Handshakes between Karthik and Sharma, nicely done.

Scores are level now as Rohit Sharma drives this down to long off for a single.

Good length delivery on off, worked comfortably past the short mid-wicket fielder by moving inside the line. Single taken.

Mashrafe Mortaza To MS Dhoni OUT!
OUT! Dhoni departs trying to finish things off in style. Length ball outside off, the batsman charges down the track and looks to clear the cover boundary. Doesn't connect as well and it flies down the throat of Mohammad Mithun, who makes no mistake in taking it coming in from the deep. Something to maybe chuckle about for the Tigers.

Mashrafe Mortaza To MS Dhoni
Connects well again but it's straight to the fielder. Outside off, Dhoni cuts it hard to point. Either side of the fielder and that was game over.
