Earlier in the game, West Indies, despite early setbacks, posted a decent enough total, thanks to Sherfane Rutherford's 70 and Gudakesh Motie's 63, who added a 91-run partnership with Alzarri Joseph (41 off 29 balls). Adil Rashid took 3 wickets for 40 runs, while the England pace trio of Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Carse, and Matthew Potts also chipped in with a couple of wickets each.
West Indies' bowling fell short, largely due to Jamie Smith's explosive batting, which gave them little chance to get back into the game. Alzarri Joseph, Roston Chase, and Gudakesh Motie each took a wicket, while the other bowlers went wicketless.
England cruised to victory, thanks to a blistering start from Jamie Smith, who smashed 64 off just 28 balls, crushing West Indies' hopes of a comeback. The rest of the batting lineup chipped in, ensuring a comfortable win in the rain-shortened match.
