So that's it from us for this game. Kolkata have moved to the top of the table by displacing Mumbai. On the other hand, Delhi remain on third position in the tournament. Don't go away as the second game of tonight is coming up where Hyderabad host Punjab and it promises to be a cracker of a contest.
The Man of the Match has been awarded to Nathan Coulter-Nile for his superb bowling performance. He bowled intelligently, took three wickets and set up the game for Kolkata.
Things got interesting in the final over. 9 runs were required from it and Mishra started off with two dot balls including the wicket of Woakes. However, it was Pandey who hit the much-needed maximum that proved instrumental in taking his side over the finish line. Zaheer Khan was miserly and bowled intelligently to pick up a couple of wickets. Chris Morris bowled a brilliant penultimate over to give a sniff to the hosts as he conceded only 7 from it. Eventually the target proved to be a little less but kudos to the way the home side fought till the end.
What a thrilling finish it turned out to be and the visitors held their nerves to emerge victorious. They continue to march on and are looking ominous. Things didn't go well when they came out to chase. The ploy of sending de Grandhomme at the top didn't work and their star batsmen, Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir on whom they depend upon fell cheaply too. After that, Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan got into the act and scored boundaries at regular intervals to ease the pressure. They batted sensibly, scored their respective fifties and brought the visitors in a commanding position. The latter fell but the young Pandey showed great composure and carried on.

Amit Mishra To Manish Pandey
TAKE A BOW, PANDEY! Tossed up around off, Pandey drives it with soft hands through extra cover. The fielder from deep comes running in and he fumbles which allows the batsmen to safely complete the couple. KOLKATA WIN BY 4 WICKETS!

Amit Mishra To Chris Woakes OUT!
OUT! Great from Mishra, even better from Pant! Tosses another one outside off, Woakes stays in his crease and goes for a biggie on the leg side. Misses it completely and Rishabh Pant is quick to dislodge the bails. He is quick to appeal and he is sure that he has his man. Replays show that Rishabh Pant has his man. The umpire also check if Pant had gathered the ball before it crossed the stumps but he looks fine and Woakes has to walk back to the hut!
Is it out? A stumping appeal is referred upstairs against Woakes. Looks close!

Chris Morris To Manish Pandey
That was something sensational from Sanju Samson! Slower delivery outside off, Pandey gets under it and hammers it towards wide of long on. That seemed like going over the ropes. Samson runs to his right, dives over the ropes, catches the ball in the air and throws it back in the play. All in split seconds. Saves four vital runs for his team.
